When you browse an album it would be great if there were Youtube links connected to each individual song. Forexample by clicking on a song name, Youtube would open in a new tab and play that song.
If that song exists on Youtube that is. It get's very tedious copy pasting band names and songs hundreds of times back and forth after a while.

Connecting each individual song on this site with youtube links would take countless hours of work, but registered users could have the ability to suggest a link with a song and have it approved by a Moderator whenever.

That sounds like an incredible amount of work for something that's ultimately volatile and difficult to manage.

I fail to see how programming this and investing months of our time to add all the links is better than pressing two keys to copy-paste the song title...

Yeah, this is a very taxing effort for little gain. Links to YouTube could also link to deleted/blocked videos, so that's not always worth in that sense.

Also, I don't really know why you're even looking up each individual song, I find stuff by searching the album. Much quicker and can usually get you the entire tracklist. Try that.

I think it could be useful in theory, I see why it would be convenient... but it's unlikely to happen due to the reasons stated in the three posts above. It would involve far too much of both programming and maintenance for such a relatively minor addition.

Plus there are a lot of bands on MA that have music that is missing since it was lost over the years.
