I wasn't able to find this question asked anywhere. So on Split albums, if you go to the 'Band members' tab under Lineup, you're able to see which members are in each band. Under 'Other staff' it bundles them all together. It allows you to choose which band when adding, say, a Producer but then just shows under with 'Misc staff' with no band tag. As an example: https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/P ... rte/749707

Is it made more complex in the case that a producer/engineer, etc. worked on both/all bands? Maybe it could just show them under both/all bands if that's the case? Or, is the acceptable practice currently to just add 'Producer' if they worked on both bands, or 'Producer (band name)' ? Thanks!

This is a coding issue. It's been brought up a number of times over the years. The admin team is aware of it, and have told us in the past that it's on the to-do list, it just happens to be a low priority in the grand scheme of the site.
