This may just be a case of different people filling in the genres for bands, but I genuinely do not understand why a band like Behemoth is listed as "Black/Death Metal" and a band like Sulphur Aeon is listed as "Blackened Death Metal"

I understand the "Black/Death Metal" tag for a band like Blasphemy as they do combine the sounds into something different, but honestly, if Behemoth is not considered Blackened Death Metal, I don't understand the nuances well enough

This really is a stupid nitpick but it bothers me for some reason

With blackened death metal, it's mainly death metal, but with some black metal elements thrown into it. As for black/death metal, it's just 50/50 for black metal and death metal elements, with no genre overpowering the other. In MA, black/death metal can also be used to describe bestial black/war metal bands like Blasphemy, Revenge, and Goatpenis, which mix up the most extreme elements of black metal and death metal with some touches of thrash metal and grindcore.
