User HagalazStreben added an album called "Untitled" to the Thrash Metal band "2 Ton Predator". That doesn't seem like a correct title. The tracklisting, lyrics, and additional notes all seem pretty valid though. It doesn't have artwork. They also added a link to Tartareanean Desire and a Myspace page as "Fan Site". I'm not 100% sure of who might have added all of this though. I checked the cache which dated back to June 14th and everything was still the same.

Actually, that album was added back in 2005, by the same guy who submitted the band.

Just figured it out. Yes, your correct it was the releases. He was using the "Song title" search field and searching for different Black Metal songs (Burzum covers, one of them being a song called "War". And a couple others). And then he was adding the lyrics for the tracks. I don't think that qualifies for point-whoring because I mean he wasn't adding anything incorrect, although it is for only one track. What do you think?

Excuse me for constantly editing Judas Priest. I just hate how the track citations are clustered as all hell. The person who did them obviously can't organize worth a damn, so I made the choice to organize them a bit.

I don't have any idea but he's been updating Unholy Ghost many times as well. I still don't know what he's doing but it has to either be links or releases because there are no noticeable differences that I can see.

I noticed that user "Azraelbass666" is adding exactly the same band name in Former Name field

ex: Florestas Negras; Miasthenia, Denied Redemption, Panteu, Wolfclan, etc

see my comment on the release ... I count eleven tracks (Audacity rip), but that is a different matter; will try to clear it up soon. If someone has a better idea on how to put it -- see my comment in the additional notes --, then feel free to change it.

Btw, why do we not have some sort of discussion thread inb the s/g forum, there are always matters that need to be discussed separately; beyond the w-w-r/d and w-w-a-thread.

Yeah I know, she's also adding Last.fm links as well. That's 2 points per band. She seems to be adding them for Brutal Death Metal bands only though.

Why is it that I suddenly went from 25 points to 4 points on my profile?

I've been giving in USEFULL material (updates on bands, lyrics, ...) during today and going on M-A later on I see that I only have 4 points left..

I tried to add an active band with a release coming up very shortly, but I got rejected... it this a reason to deduct this many points? =/

I'm just contributing, and this is seriously redundant..

Bands can only be added if they've already released a work physically; not if that work is still pending release.
