i'm sure theres others deleting them, i haven't yet, but i'll start, he's going alphabetically on the more known bands, but he's constantly adding the same thing, i'm sure evenfiel will take care of it, he's already been warned

If he has read the message... or better said if he is aware that he is doing something wrong. The common "I have no message recieved" problem.

well either way the rules are there, and if they're not followed, its not anyone else's problem but their own for not reading or following them. I'm sure the bigger guys (or girl for morrigan) will take care of it in the proper way.

An easy way to see which bands have been updated is to check the site and see the bands that are on both MA and the site.

Yeah, the first bands I checked (Aborted, Amon Amarth, Amorphis) always have the star500 link. I'm going to fix that on all bands.

Bands pages fixed: Agent Steel, All Shall Perish, All that Remains, At the Gates, As I Lay Dying, Armored Saint, Arch Enemy, As Blood Runs Black, Annihilator, Apocalyptica, Bathory, Behemoth, Benediction, The Black Dahlia Murder, Burzum.
There might be other bands with the link, I checked the most known bands so I might have forgotten some.
I think he didn't went farer than "B". Bands beginning with "C" are OK.

The 5 bands are on Metal Blade Records, I think he added the link "Band @ Metal Blade Records". John Arch just have one link ("Metal Blade Records") and it's on the other 4 pages.

Same for Behold... the Arctopus. But that's maybe not bad as John Arch's page didn't have any link.

You're right, some "K" bands have also this link: Kataklysm, Kamelot, Katatonia, Krisiun, Kreator.
"D" bands are also concerned... :ugh:

Why are we not allowed/I think we should have avatars. To prevent retarded big ones, keep them to a small requirement, like 56k or something. And simple penalize porn avatars. This may have been brought up already, but I didnt want to go through all 20+ pages on this shitty modem

User blackrain is updating almost all korean bands.,..he's changing correct information that I spent hours updating to incorrect information. He doesn't understand Korean, yet he adds information, it ends up being incorrect.

I know Korean and I update to correct information.

I find it extremely frustrating when I spend hours updating the messy Korean band section and this user merely fucks with it again later.

There is a user named Monuments who has 23 points, yet no reviews. I just looked at this profile for 2 seconds, saw the amount of points with no work done, and decided to report. Then again I'm pretty sure he's done someting legit.

26 points is not very many without writing reviews. If he achieved these points in a very short time span then perhaps something is up.

Then again you shouldn't post about it.

You don't need to be that picky. Someone with 20 points and no reviews or bands added is ok, now if someone is a veteran without any reviews or bands added, maybe there is something going on.

Current line-up, Former/past member(s), Additional notes needs to be fixed (total mess) & "Tomorrow I'll hate god forever" Full-length should be removed.

Hi,
soon i want to start to update every Italian band for what concern Origin. Infatc, i've noticed that many Italian bands have the city unknown, but is easily understandable from reviews or official site, so i can add it. Plus I want to change how i added Origin since now. First of all i want to remove the region (f.e. Veneto, Lombardia) because is an useless information, and let the region when is the only information achievable (f.e. a band comes from Veneto but is unknown which city of Veneto exactly). Secondly, i'll add Origin only with the city (f.e. Verona) and, eventually, if a city is in province, with the two cities (f.e. Mestre (Venezia)). Plus some Province have changed lately, exspecially in Sardinia, so i want ot check everything is fine.

I hope this would not considered as point whoring, in my opinion is a good job for the site.

Plus i have a questin: if a band comes from a city who have the English (f.e. Milano/Milan, Roma/Rome, Firenze/Florence, Venezia/Venice) I have to write to Italian way or the English one? So i can update the Origin in the same way for all the bands.

Bye :)

Since it would appear to be valid updates I wouldn't call it pointwhoring.
And the English spelling is preferred.
