People already insert additional discography (or sometimes only discography) in the additional notes, if that's what you mean.

Extended is kind of vague... perhaps you can elaborate... bootlegs, unreleased albums, etc.?

No. Extended discography means all the discography of a band in the same page.

Yeah, if it's unreleased or an unsanctioned release, who cares (unless you're some diehard freak)?

All the official discography is on the same page.

I say extended beacause should the discography appears in the same page with the tracklist of all albums and covers (Only full-lenghts or all).

I don't like the idea. It would not look good with bands that have many many releases. Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Nunslaughter being only 3 examples.

And you cannot do only full lengths as many bands don't even have full lengths. Take Nunslaughter for example they have many releases and no full lengths as most are splits and EP albums. DO you mean to have a tickbox of what kind of releases to show on the page? If so this isn't that bad an idea as a little filter system for the bands with the massive discographies may be somewhat useful.

Perhaps a more feasable idea would be to have a pop up of the release page everytime the mouse cursor goes over the release title, though I do not know how feasable this is.

I wasn’t sure to where to put this, but here it goes:

A suggestion:

How about creating a sub-page in the bands discography for tribute albums (ex. Slayer-"Slatanic slaughter" or Black Sabbath "Masters of misery", "Nativity in black" , Bathory -"In conspiracy with satan" , etc, etc, etc)

I don’t know if this was already discussed, but if it hasn’t, it sure should have some attention, or shouldn’t it....?
This way the real Gods of Metal woud be more noticed and "seperated" from the common underground band .

cheers

The whole damn thing is good enough right now. Unreleased stuff is in the band's additional notes and re-releases go in the additional notes of the respected release.

Fuck, I feel like a mod.
