I'm just wondering why that at one point the temporary google search was removed and the original MA search engine was reinstated. Then, the next day or so the temporary google search was being used again. I'm a little suprised no one (at least to the best of my knowledge) has brought this up? Or maybe it's because of HellBlazer's post.

"The uploading and modifying of pictures will be disabled for a few days while we move all the images to another server in order to save bandwidth on the main server, sorry for the inconvenience. Please report to me any page I might have missed that still allows uploading, or any bug that might have appeared as a side-effect of this change."

Is that the reason? Or is it something else?

Thank you for your time

Apparently the server was fucked up again and they had to put that Google Search back

I don't like it either, not very practical but better than nothing

It is a real pain in the ass when I go searching for song titles and what not but it is MUCH better than seeing "no response from database" every second search click.

On a related note, why won't search strings that use AND work?
I've been trying the following query: "mid-tempo AND death AND metal" to search for a discussion on, you guessed it, mid-tempo death metal (similar to Bolt Thrower) that I saw a while back. Every time I try i get "No results found" or somesuch. So I try with only "death AND metal" - and I get the same result. I know the AND function worked before. Am I missing something?
