Add as EP or as live-album? I've seen both on here and can't find a rule/faq/message board topic to clarify it... may also depend on the case if it's a 25 minute live MCD, or just a 7" with three songs...?

I saw that there was a live EP recently added to Metallica's page, and it's added as an EP. Many EPs have both studio and live tracks and are considered EPs, I suppose live albums are more considered to be a full length of live tracks. Anyway, my guess would be to add it as an EP, but I suggest waiting to hear other people's thoughts.

It should be added as an E.P. Otherwise live albums of under 10 minutes could be added, which would be ridiculous. And most Live EP's I know of on the archives are already classified as EP's.

Yes add it as an EP, and state in the additional notes that its recorded live. Only add it as a live album if its a full length. Good question.
