i hate elitist...
i dont listen to rap or hip-hop but i'm not limited to obscure metal bands and only obscure metal bands.
elitism sucks... and for those of you who think only secular metal is good, there is christian metal that is good aswell (Frost Like Ashes, Becoming The Archetype, Víkarbyrgi)
elitism = close-mindedness
close-mindedness = freakin undiverse

However, this forum is for constructive suggestions, and legitimate complaints about the site. Trite whining about the scene's elitism belongs, if anywhere, on your blog.

Although it is fine that you feel this way there is no need to post about it. Elitism has been discussed to death as has Open-Mindedness, all your doing is making yourself look in poor form by starting a thread of this manner. As much as you are entitled to your opinion so are the others who believe only obscure bands have merit.

This should be locked before it gets out of hand.

Don't bring drama into forums and posting useless threads. Threads like this result in a ban, don't do it. Lock
