add a new data

add a single CD release

in RELEASE TYPE, select SPLIT ALBUM

in the notes put

tracks A to D by band X (tracks 1 to 4...)

Tracks E to K by band Y (tracks 5 to ...)

then add tracks

I had an issue with adding tracklenghts in a split...

http://www.metal-archives.com/release.php?id=16329

had to get it fixed using the report button.

how is that possible?

There is a bug on the site that has to do with splits. It seems that users under veteran status can't add track lengths to splits. It says you updated the band page, but the track lengths don't appear.
