. use MA? Used to just be able to hop on the site, look up a band im interested in and BAM ma goodness. Now I have to log in just to check some bands review scores (or it shoos me off to google). Hell, now I cant even reccomend people to this site, I know I sure as hell wouldnt register with a site just to browse a review archive. Any idea why this was implemented?

To save bandwidth. It takes like 10 seconds to register on MA.

At least we still have site search. If it wasn't set up like this, I don't know if we'd now have it.

Not that strange a method to make google take a lot of the load. Besides you find most bands with the Google search. View the underground bands as a special service to members.
