It's not just the front page, it affects the search and the bands by letter/country sections, too. And the links to other bands from the line-up sections of band pages don't seem to work either.

Could the search be turned back to Temp google search for the time this problem lasts? That seemed to work earlier this morning.

Well, right now nothing works. You can't access the pages via google either (as well as the M-A search engine).

Yes you can, I can still access them through google. If you use advanced search and type "http://www.metal-archives.com/" in the domain field and the bandname in the normal search box you will find the band you're looking for and can still access the page (at least I can..)

Just be patient. The site does this from time to time, and it always gets fixed soon enough. If this has been going on for a couple days, on the otherhand...

Some tables apparently got corrupted, I don't know why. I repaired them, but apparently one band and one user might be missing or lost. Just so you know.

Oh, now you're telling this I notice that I have only 760 bands submitted (yesterday there were 761 of them) but maybe it has been deleted by a mod.

If you come across any band page that has such an error, post it here. I think that Morri needs to manually fix them.

is written on the Sabbath UK site when logged out. It disappears when being logged in though. This is a different error code than I have reported once:

Finally, a thread about this! It seems to happen loads here. Worst was the last couple of days waiting to see the Death Metal poll results!
I thought it was my net connection at first, even though everything else seemed to work.
