When I tried to submit the band Jex Thoth, formerly known as Totem (US), my submittion got rejected because their first release hasn't been RELEASED yet, and I was told they can only be submitted in the 31st, which is when their split 7" with Pagan Altar will be officially distributed. But lo, the user Doomsday just submitted the band under its new name. What the fuck? Why my submittion got rejecetd, then?

It is possible that it was accepted now by me or another mod by mistake.

Your submission got rejected for the EXACT reason we have told you.

Now we will keep them and you will have to accept it, there is no other way. We cannot establish here a kindergarten for users, who are not able to follow few basic rules and advices, so crappy submissions like this will exist in the future.


Judging from this post, we would also urgently need a new codex of conduct for this part of the forum, because too much posts are posted outside the respective thread , are whining and insultive in tone ( you expect me to help you by starting "what the hell/what the fuck"- are you an alien from Mars or what??!!) and nobody seems to read the rules before asking here. When I post the rule in question, the respective user gladly ignores it and gladly continues his rant, why his band is so much important for the metal scene (another case used as an example).

Also, I don't mean to bitchslap about the submission, but I do want to know why mine got rejected while this one, perhaps completely identical to mine and not before the 31st as well, was approved.

By mistake, I cannot remember all past submissions and so it is possible that
such band get accepted. There would not be any reason to blacklist such bands, since they will usually release their Cd in a couple of weeks.

So yours was rejected, because I have correctly noticed that it is premature.

And now we are getting to another board problem. Do I have to constantly repeat everything at least three times, before it will sink in - I hope not.

First submission - I was paying attention
Second - me or another mod was not paying attention so much or better said, not for all details.

Really, I cannot make it much more obvious.

So acting kindergartner infor a reasonable complaint is your solution? It'd have been better to drop the ape-treating tone, I read and understood what you said in the first place. Case closed.

O.K., but last word - the complaint was out if the respective thread, in an angry tone and for the most part unreasonable, since we have already explained you last time, why your submission was rejected. You cannot make a resevation for your submissions, so even if a band previously rejected as your submission will get accepted later, you will have to bite your lip and respect the decision, especially when you were given a valid reason for the rejection the first time.

Do you read what I write down? I did not ask to "make reservation", I was complaining about a flaw in moderation in the respective subforum. Mistakes are obviously legitimate, but trying to pick up on the complainer won't solve it and definitely won't make up to it (and I was not seeking an apology). As this thread is, you chose to ignore my complaint and instead bitch about my actions.

You've no more ground for playing the victim here than does Witcher. You have your answers--your submission was rightfully rejected, and the second one was wrongfully accepted. There is little more to be said.

I'll wager that you'll find your future queries/complaints to be answered more dulcetly if you yourself dispense with the petulant tone, and voice them in the most proper venue.
