First there were no more notification emails, now there seems to be another problem, at least for me. For some reason I have to log in again every time I enter both the site and the forum. It's not a Firefox thing, I double-checked that, there seems to be something wrong with the cookies on the site itself. So, is it just me or has anyone else experienced the same thing? Just to make sure.

Not me. The problem I'm having is that I can't log out of the main site (not the forum).

Not me. A new problem I get is that these symbols ' and " in most reviews now appear as question marks.

Are you really sure that the cookie-expiration is not set too strict? Well, I have no problems with Seamonkey (latest stable build)

There are extensions with which you can save cookies for a longer period of time and it was discussed in the heise-Forum, but I could not find it...

Another problem I seem to be having is often band pages don't have other band's linked in the additional bands of the members. Nile is one such example I just noticed.

Do you mean that "{\link }" issue ? That's because the texts were paste from texts as we see it on the page, so without the {\link }. We'll have to do it manually. I already did 2 bands but I think I'm not in the mood to do them all right now.

Thanks for your help molk, and everyone else who helped fix the dead links.

I restored some bios from a database backup from last month, but it seems the accented characters got screwed up in the import (sorry about that, not sure how it happened but I'll investigate).
So if some Veteran users can fix the texts for Satyricon and Helloween pages, I'd appreciate it.

Edit: nevermind, I went ahead and fixed them. But there might be other such issues, so feel free to fix bad formatting or corrupt accents or whatever.
