As much as I like bashing hardcore, metalcore, and scene kids, it's getting old. How about adding a rule against starting threads with the explicit purpose of bashing these people, unless it brings some new thoughtful ideas to the surface.

Most threads of that kind are locked pretty soon after their inception anyway so it's not like it's endorsed around here.

It's not like that's a new thing.

If I decide to actually explicitly ban that behavior, it's going to be accompanied by related topic bans that many of you probably won't like.

If we're going to away with what the youthful vernacular calls "hate parades", we're going to do away with "pride parades", as well.
