Why is it that when I added a signature, it wasn't added to the posts I'd made before adding it, but only the ones I made after? Couldn't that be fixed so that the current signature is included in all the previous posts too?

That doesn't happen with me, when I change my sig all my old ones changes too. Strange...

Perhaps you didn't have a sig before you changed it so the sig was set to off when you posted?
