Why did some bands get deleted and which ones, I was wondering because some of the first bands to be put on here are now gone (id number no longer in use).

Search the cleansing the archives list. I do not remmber all the bands that got deleted, there are hundreds of them.
Usually for not being metal or not having physical releases.
