Two days ago, I submitted a band Carnivorous Skin from Thailand, added the link and the their sole demo Suffer Torture. After the submission I immediately check the pending queue, only to find that the band was gone! The message read "You have 0 band waiting"... I don't know whether it was rejected because the amail notfication is diabled. But I don't think the mod will reject a band when the submission is not completed yet. After all, it was a matter of only two minutes and it immediately evaporated!

A loophole in the database? Or someone could explain it. Thanx.

Edit: These days I will gradually complete the Thai undergorund metal scenes, enjoy.

The queue may not be updated right away. Have you tried checking again at a later time?

I tend to doubt that it was a bug, I have a feeling the band was rejected. Once you put in the first page of info on a band (not including links and what not) the band is viewable in the queue. It may have been rejected on sound, lack of discography or possibly even preemptively which has occurred in rare cases. I figure it was more then likely one of the first two though.

Then I guess the mod should be a biiiiiiit more patient to see whether new information would be added, especially when a band just appearred two minites ago in the database...

Can you provide some links to music samples I'm wondering if this band you submitted is actually metal by the guidelines. A band page if possible would also be nice.

I had a similar problem with the band Filsutia. I had another thread for this yesterday.

No. Studies show that Manowar related penile products reduce attraction rates by 57%.

Sorry, the info is from Siamese Underground Metal. This band got tagged Brutal death, but who the hell could verify this? I believe that demo was a needle in the sea...
Here is the page, a bunch of bands (all related to Suwat) are introduced.

Link not working? Might be a web blocking? (This shitty thing seems to happen only in China!) It's perfect for me. Then try the home page:
http://www.infinite.th.gs/
Or use an online proxy.

Um that site doesn't seem to have samples, if you don't have samples of the band then it's no wonder it was rejected. Also there are issues with that page it could have been rejected based on it being inaccessible to the moderator.

No. I've submitted two bands based that Siamese Metal site. So I think at least some mods can access it. And there are now 3 Thai bands waiting the queue... To me, this Thai site is the mere source to Thai bands besides MA.

Well then let me reiterate the importance of samples. Without them the band being submitted could be pop and no one would know. Although I doubt that's the case it is still possible that the band sits on the unacceptable side of the grindcore line and a mod would have no means by which to tell this.

If that was the band I am thinking of, it was rejected for lack of samples. Labelled death/grind, 22 songs on their demo - very suspicious, could be the Meat Shits style.

That is rather suspicious.

Carnivorous Skin has changed name to Massacretion. If the first sounds like the latter, I see no reason to add them at all.
