Perhaps the album was released on a different day on Bandcamp? I'll review it on Monday.

initial version has an additional note "Released on various digital platforms, such as Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer."
the one added by Caliginosity has version description "Bandcamp".
both ways are incorrect because versions are identical, and maybe the band simply created an account on Bandcamp a bit later.
moreover, many times we have had a discussion in this forum thread about stupidity of adding "bandcamp" to version description.
I guess those two versions should be merged.

thank you!

next question :)
is it ok when a contributor firstly adds an album and then (within few minutes) fills in the timestamps, isn't it a pointwhoring?
or should he, adding the album, at once add timestamps and other info like catalogue ID, additional notes, recording information (if present), etc.?

All information should be submitted at once, though sometimes people forget to submit the info initially, in which case a further modification to correct that is fine. However, anyone who is making it a habit with the intention of exploiting extra points is point-whoring, and if we see them, we'll talk to them.

the main thing he does on site is adding the word "bandcamp" to version description field.
please stop him...

yatyatfleeto should be warned due to his last edits on Tempered's band and members pages.

I have went through his edits and deleted his accusations, but a warning may be a good idea.

He still did what he'd set out to do. He's undone all of TSIR's edits concerning Bogota.

He still doesn't get it. It's supposed to be "Bogota" only, no region/district/state/etc.

Zapro is adding lyrics to Gorgoroth, maybe a reminder would be good?

https://www.metal-archives.com/users/Zapro

Edit: I cleaned up those lyrics added.

His username is very appropriate. There's not a lot we can do as one doesn't even need to log in to post on reports, but I have sent him a critical warning regardless.

can a moderation note be placed on https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Vi ... 3540285610 , not to change the band status from active to split up (again), to avoid edit wars? they won't play live again, but they're still working on one album... I know because I know them, and you can also go down their fb history for posts... thanks :)

I won't lie, I've been pointwhoring like a whore just now. I was editing the band As and I forgot to do like 10 edits, and I constantly saved stuff before going back to editing and adding or changing even more stuff. I even somehow fucked up and removed the original logo and now I'm pissed about it. If anybody has the original logo please re-upload it.

And if needed take away some points from me, I've earned a lot more than I should have.

it's a proverb here in Russia, it sounds something like "the only one who does no mistakes is the one who does nothing".
so, no problem :)

BuriedUnborn, we won't remove points for honest mistakes, just make shure it doesn't become a habit of yours.

This user has flagged a couple reports with wrong release dates for bandcamp releases, maybe he could be schooled.

"in doubt" might be overly optimistic, I declare myself entirely lost and not paricularly keen on trying to learn if it's "The Dream where The Man Finds Himself falling" or "The dream Where the man finds Himself Falling" or whatnot :/ I can notify smn whenever I add a release, however, don't want to be a problem... :)

The first letter of any title is always capitalized. Any noun or verb has its first letter capitalized, so Dream, Man and Finds are all uppercase. Where is a conjunction, so normally it would be lowercase, but as it's more than four letters the first letter is capitalized. It's never a problem to ask for help. We'd far rather you asked than continued by yourself when unsure.

well, to be fair, I have been told off when I have filed a report for someone else to add a release on a band's page ("do it yourself!"), but from now on I'll just message smn to fix the capitalization. looks like it's gonna be you :)

Spoiler: show

You can message me if it helps, though I hope eventually we can gain some understanding and memorize some rules. None of us (or so I hope) mind helping users in need of guidance, but reports to add an album only cluster the queue and use up even more of the little time our report-queue moderator has, when the reporter could have added the album themselves. If I find a correction/addition to the site but am not in a position to make the changes instantly (whether it's due to business or laziness), I usually file a report then immediately take assignment for it and deal with it when I want to.

if you post a clear "how-to", I will make a genuine effort to use it to the best of my abilities. but the wiki link in Morri's original post in Paggy's link is like 2 lines, and I'm not gonna shift through the thread's 6 pages every time a band releases an album (sorry)... not to mention that that "normally it would be lowercase, but as it's more than four letters the first letter is capitalized" sounds decidedly bonkers (sorry again).
