check all the shit he added: same band names in the former/alternate name field + some different band names which are totally fake (Abysmal Forest Dark forests)

please have a look http://www.metal-archives.com/last-edit ... seba323232

and then remove all the updates he did

Useless ANS removed. Corrected some of the "Release Length" fields he entered from the automatically calculated track times (that Google Cache showed were different; and the ones he entered were incorrect anyway).

http://metal-archives.com/userprofile.p ... ueMetalist

removed information from the Kult Ofenzivy page on which additional members from which bands are/were involved in them. I once received this information from KO.

That is not the first time he has done some point-whoring, either.

User goatshit added an incorrect release to Skog's page. I did a search of the album itself, the song titles, the other participating band, but nothing came up.

Users "Zoul148" and "Haat888" both changed the location of Verden from "Noord-Brabant" to "North Brabant" after I changed it to "Noord-" (Dutch for "north", as it's known in the Netherlands). Is there some reasoning behind this, or are they just being picky?

I'd change it back to Noord-Brabant twice, but I wanted to check that I myself wasn't breaking the rules first.

The English name of regions/federal states/etc. is the preferred one, so they were doing the right thing, you weren't. Not a big deal of course, but now you know.

http://www.metal-archives.com/userprofi ... thic_metal ?

6087!!! Just couple of days ago she wasen't even in the first page of the ranking!
What kind of updates she is up to? I still can remember couple of mounths ago the real suspicious increasing in her rank with useless and continuous updates. Besides, i dont see even a single band/review added in the data base.

What kind of contribution is that relating to this tremendous score?!

This user must be reviewed by the admins.

NB: And she seems stupid too since she changed the current location of Malevolent Creation from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Buffalo, New York!! Which is already noted in the additional notes.

user Grief_Of_Adoration is pointwhoring

I saw him adding track lengths 1 by 1 on some albums today including argentine band Embrion...

he added track lengths stopping at number 6 when I checked, then put number 7 then 8 then 9 ... gaining a point every time which is against the rules

It even says on albums "Please do not make a separate update for each track if you have more than one track to update.

He also did it for Epitaph (Aus) album going from 288 pts to over 293 and now on Inhuman (Deu) "Inner Fear" album (293 to 303 points = 10 pts = 1 per track)

Last edit is now for Reign of Terror (USA) - Traversing the Realms of Acheron album, tracks added 1 by 1

Now I think you have enough proofs to take sanctions against him ...

I've actually been suspicious of her myself. Last time I checked, she'd been changing the line-up order in the Additional Notes sections of several albums... to something completely arbitrary and pointless. The only other changes I saw her making at the same time were (very minor) capitalisation fixes... It's like she's earning points from janitor duties.

user Burn keeps adding his shitty lyrical themes and its getting annoying... he does is arbitrarily and has no clue about the real lyrical themes (everywhere its mysterious, anger, darkness, evil, hate etc...)

I even saw lyrical themes on bands that had only a 2 track demo and he could find lyrical themes from 2 single tracks???

To show his stupidity: I removed the stupid lyrical themes he added, he reupdated some pages by adding totally different lyrical themes

 please put him to death

The additional notes for "Nu Is Alles Anders" were useless, bad translations, etc.
I will probably add a decent translation later.

There is no Angelus Diaboli "bootleg".
However, a promotional cd-r with unreleased and adv. tracks for the "Iussu.." demo exists, only a few (mostly Dutch) labels have a copy.
It's not an official release, nor a "bootleg", just a promo cd-r.

EDIT:
I think about 10 copies (max) of this cd-r exist.
I believe it came in a transparant casing without covers and without any information at all.
So I can hardly believe anyone would want to add it to the archives in the first place.

but the information on the bootleg as well as on the split with ZBT is out there, so it is necessary to add them. Whether you want it or not. The entry is not for your band as advertizing ... the MA serve a different purpose.

I've reported him before but user Staatsfeind keeps changing lyrical themes from a lot of NS bands

those lyrical themes are noted from a long time and mr comes and changes them without reason (also sometimes not big changes)

Hate forest: Aryan/Slavic Mythology, Nietzscheism, Nature now Mythology, Nietzscheism, Nature, Darkness

Disiplin: Gnosticism, Satanism, Abstract provocative themes => Gnosticism, Satanism, Provocations, Abstract theme (difference???)

Legion of doom: Mysticism, Anti-Christianity, Abstract themes => Mysticism, Antichristianity, Abstract themes (antichristianity in 1 word now??)

so DO something please...

Not pointwhoring, but LordofLiege posted a NSFW troll image link (the air-thrusting one that he posted on this forum) on the Jim Matheos page for the second album. Felt this was the appropriate place to bring it up.

lordmortus666 (I believe it is him) keeps re-adding a particular split release to Nokturnal Holocaust's page. I'm not sure if it's genuine point-whoring or if he has not read the rules and is unaware of the "Report" feature. I'm suspicious of this because as you can see, one entry has a misspelled title and one does not (the one that was just now added). In addition to this the correct entry has 3 song lengths (while the other does not).

http://www.metal-archives.com/release.php?id=293257
http://www.metal-archives.com/release.php?id=293450 (correct one that he just re-added)

He re-added it once to correct the spelling. That's not "keeps re-adding a particular split".

Is that allowed? It's one thing if a release is re-added with the correct number of tracks (even admins can't change that), but in the case of a misspelt title, I'd be reaching for the Report button right after adding it...

Of course he should have reported it, but I'll never ban anyone because of that.

I saw user Corpus_Christii adding track lengths 1 by 1 on

Ancestral Damnation - Versiya Realnosti

This user has more than 5000 pts without reviews nor bands submitted, that explains now how he reached such a big score ..... pointwhoring...

http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=3540320310
has a messed up release entry; without a title. Also the tracklist has an encoding problem. Maybe it is possible to contact the user who added it and request a more valid entry.

Untitled? Okay, that still doesn't explain how he managed to add an entry *without a name*.

Edit: Okay, after an unsuccessful attempt at fixing the titles (told me I had to enter a release title), I've gone and added the correct release... Old one can be deleted... if possible.

Not Untitled. Rather Fusnota. The release looks much better now;
