Report for Aetherna (Ita):
https://www.metal-archives.com/report/view/id/781027
To me they sound like recent Lacuna Coil material ot like The Gathering on "How To Measure A Planet" album, both of which are not particularly metal. This iscertainly not traditonal heavy metal in any case.

It's not that I'm exactly ashamed of it, just been trying to get my head around why it was allowed in the first place, also is there any evidence that I actually played any instruments on that album, I can confirm most of the material is plagurised off youtube for meme purposes on social media. Entire whinge album are instrumentals from 331Erock for example. Other albums are random backing tracks and songs taken from youtube. It's a fake band, thats why I want it removed not really for myself, but for the intellectual property of other artists I ripped off.
Is that a good enough reason? If you want me to waste a day I can give you links of each and every plagiarised song which amounts to literally all of them.
If all you can do is remove my name from search engines, I guess I'll have to live with that and spend the next few days tracking down youtube uploaders to get them to contact this site about their material.

But you still have some of them available for download on bandcamp? Seems pretty disingenuous.

I have posted here the Irish band Stryder already several years ago, but a moderator demanded more songs than one. AAnother song ofo their was posted online, which clearly shows, that ehey were a hard rock band:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLYkdjB-fgk
It shuld be pointed out, that even their label describes their music as hard rock. Ufortunately I can't find other songs from the Darkened Days compilation, since it was released by a small Greek label, who doesn'tt upload their stuff on Spotify, Itunes and services like those.

Stryder are a good hard rock band, but they are far from being metal , quite objectively. This song inparticular has clearly nt much do with metal:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLYkdjB-fgk
The sound of this song shuld imo be a good reason to try to collect the other four songs from the cocompilation for review and not dismiss it so hastily.

They beong to the group of bands, that got associated with the nwobhm scne just by the period of their activity, just like Ace Lane, Spider, Chevy and smilar bands. They have anA Thin Lizzy hard rock sound, but not the heaviness of real nwobhm bands. They also sound nothing like wolf, who were undoubtedly stylistically a heavy metal band. That's why I pointed out, that their label even calls them hard rock and they are right. But do as you wish, in the end it's your decision. I'm only agai only surprised by the huge amount of subjectivity in the evaluation here, even if a such processeses have naturally some amount of it.

If you have the other songs from the release available to assess, I'll gladly listen to them. What I've heard so far is excellent, inspired, and talented Heavy Metal/Hard Rock (genre adjusted to include the latter) that is taking some of the Thin Lizzy formula and bridging the gap into NWOBHM, with an incredible natural energy that is one of the factors that defines heavy metal of that era.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Travis Scott shouldn't be in the archives.

Lemme know if this is the wrong thread.

it is quite obviuobvious ,that Travis Scott is not listed bbecaose of this own musicm but just as a guest on An Ozzy Osbourne album. There is a differnce between bands,t hat are listed on the archives and oepople, who have contributed in some way to the album liseted. Keith emerson is also not listed ofr his own music and none of his band is listed, but he is listed just as a musician contributing to an Ayreon album.
https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... ott/831460
Kurt Cobain is also only listed as a guet musician on Melvins and Earth albums, not for Nirvana.

Fireclown got brought up again. Didn't get a second moderator's opinion on it a couple of months back. My comments are in the report:
https://www.metal-archives.com/report/view/id/781649

- Stryder - no point leaving this as an ongoing band to be assessed, as only a fraction of their material has been presented, and is more metal than not so far
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Needs another moderator's opinion:
- Halcyon Days (US) - Vote for deletion. Decent music, but not really metal.
- Dark Theology (US) - No strong feelings one way or the other.
- M28 (Arg) - Leaning slightly towards deletion.
- Lukas Wünschel (Ger) - either way is fine with me. I approved them 6 months ago, so another opinion would be helpful here.
- Aetherna (Ita) - haven't had a chance to listen yet

Titan (UK) with Rocky Shades on vocals.
Even if it was released in the times of nwobhm, both songs on the single sosound more like seventies hard rock than heavy metal. Their structure and riffing owes more to Led Zeppelin and AC/DC than to Iron Msiden, Judas Priest and Saxon. The genre tag on Discogs shows , that it's only my impression:

Titan (UK) is metal enough in my opinion, was approved by Azmodes, and that was seconded by another mod.

Also, the listed genre at Discogs is fairly irrelevant, but especially in a case where the songs are available to listen to.

I'm guessing because of the "Diva Metal" record. I've listened to it myself and it appears to be a metal album.

Similar Artist: Bon Jovi, Winger, Steel Dawn, Intuition
https://www.spirit-of-metal.com/es/album/Witched/138036
http://www.rockunited.com/archive_w2.htm - review:
Spoiler: show
Italian-based Witched wear their influences on their sleeve: their music is unashamedly eighties' styled hard rock. If I didn't know better, I could believe that this was a forgotten release from the era when bands like Warrant, Firehouse and Danger Danger were big news. Naturally it's a bit rougher (no major label budget or name producer obviously), but when it comes to hard rock cliches/trademarks (take your pick), the band has nailed it. They've got the big, anthemic rockers like "Electric Love" and "Wild Night", the power ballad "When I Close My Eyes" and even the token groovy/bluesy/jammin' track "The Last Time". I know it's totally unoriginal, but not that bad really. The arrangements could've been more flowing though, some of the songs just don't move along as well as they could.
The best tracks are the opener "Electric Love" which reminds me of Baton Rouge and Jack Ponti's songwriting, the melodic "Quicksand" and "Days Gone By". I must also mention "Wild Night", an okay song otherwise but the chorus just happens to be almost identical to that of Kane Roberts' "Wild Nights".
If you're hungry for some classic "Hair Metal", you can check out some of these songs on the bands' website I believe. Rock on!
