Lately accepted band The Cloven should be removed. Reason: album is a digital download album no physical release.

http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=3540296292
and
http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=117159
could it be that these are the same bands?
What makes me wonder is the phrase used on Monoxide's MySpace site:
http://www.myspace.com/monoxidemusic

ONWARD THROUGH THE FOG !

which resembles the release of the other band:

Released the 4-song demo "Onward through Thy Fog" in 1990.

Deleted Avulabashy again.

Buried somewhere in the depths of one of those online dating sites that The Cloven uses is a message saying that they made 50 copies of that album available (for free) to anyone upon request. This is presumably in addition to public file downloads. If anyone has some concrete information showing that I've got it wrong, well, feel free to share.

Should write them back asking if they've a picture of the demo they've distributed at gigs (if you haven't already). Otherwise, there's no proof they've anything to show.

This band keeps coming up every time I search for WindsofCreations band Formless. There genre was listed as "Thrash/Death Metal" but they aren't on the archives. I just assumed after reading their influences that they were deathcore and not metal enough but after listening to a few tracks, these guys are definitely metal enough for the archives. There myspace has loads of views so I think it's safe to assume they have a discography though I could find any.

Here's a link to there Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/theformless

The band is metal, but apparently there is no proof of physical release. Read the first post in this thread.

Vithatten
http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=3540315868

In addition notes on demo there is "According to Tomas "Vithatten" Carlson it was only released in about 6-7 copies."
There wasn't limit for minimum number of copies?

I brought this up before, without any reaction: Deadsoul Tribe is NOT a side-project because it was former AFTER Buddy Lackey left Psychotic Waltz, and the music is like more recent ("Lateralus"/"10,000 Days"-era) Tool and A Perfect Circle, even mentions those two bands as primary influences. Definitely not metal, more like alternative/prog-rock.

Oh, and these two projects I know (or knew) personally never had a physical release, the "demo" of the latter isn't even a demo, just loose mp3s:

http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=25231
http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=24881

-edit- And Noktorn's recent review for Jhesu Masturbator talks about the project not having any guitars.

Question of curiosity... a band called "Erschrickt" was accepted recently, but the page's MySpace link points to the record label of the same name. After having a look around, there doesn't appear to be any clear indication that "Erschrickt" is, in fact, an actual band.

The only member of "Erschrickt" is Herr Asmodeus, who is also featured in Wake to the Mourning (another band signed to that label). WttM has a Split release called "Depression and Sickness Collide", which is also Erschrickt's only release.

Mods, I'd give this a second look; it seems Erschrickt might've been added by a misled user who was confused by the page's lack of clarity...

you might have a point there ... but why has the label a track from the band Erschrickt then?

No, the submissions seems to be correct ...

Should the band Shyte still be here? The only information on their page is that they were from Italy, played heavy metal, and had one demo. The link is just a list of Italian bands that had a release in the 80's. It's likely that all information on their page came from that website, which doesn't seem very credible.

I just added the second band last night, but now that I've found the first band, the two seem oddly almost mirrors of each other. Either the same band members went under two separate band names and released two separate demos or the two bands (and demos) are one and the same.

The link below is to the only reference that google found when I search for both names at the same time. Seeing as how I don't know Spanish very well, maybe somebody else can translate it better than the google translator.

Anakron

http://metal-archives.com/band.php?id=76227

Does not have real guitars.

This can be heard on the songs on myspace and the page says "Formed in 1996. The Hungarian oneman-band creates METAL with symphonic and folk influence using computer programming."

The reviews also say that the instruments are made by a computer.

Esprit Dérangé can be deleted for the same reason, all "guitars" are synthetic/programmed.
