The Walrus Resists is labeled as death metal but they sound more like some kind of progressive/djent type of music. At a bare minimum this is certainly not death metal.

Deleted Harbinger A.D. (US) - minor name change from Harbinger.
Deleted The Great Kaiser's White Magician (US) - moniker that White Magician use at times that their second guitarist can't make it to a gig. They recorded an intro track without him and named it that as a joke.

Front776: The band features some members of the rac band Blitzkrieg and their style is almost identical to Blitzkrieg in all aspects, naely rac with only minimal, if any, metal influences. That is why Blitzkrieg was removed from the databse two yers ago. All sources label them as rac, even their lael PC Records, which does not speak about heavy metal at all. Whe have a saing in Czech, which literally translated means:You throw them out through the dorr, they'll crawl back thourgh the window..

Deleted Abomination (UK). Information for the addition was sourced from a 'zine demo review stating that they were from England, but the description of their 1988 demo shows a lot of similarity to the US band's '88 demo, which was featured in a lot of 'zines at the time. With no substantial information available to rule out that the country was written incorrectly, opted to add to the research thread.

Report for Homomilitia:
https://www.metal-archives.com/report/v ... 5/show/all
I have previously listed to the band independently of the report, and have to say I agree. Their 1996 album is mostly a fast punk/hardcore aalbum with only a small hints o metal, when the music slows dow, which is rare. Only two of the songs contain longer metallic parts the rest is hardcore/crust:

Hunterwolf and Zornkind should probably be removed. It appears as though this band only has one "metal" release, a two song single which only has one actual metal song on it. The first song is just a four minute intro with no riffs. The other release on this band's page appears to be an electronic album, both based off the samples on this Youtube page and a post on the label's Facebook page as well.

The EP would make the cut as prog metal, but everything else is more or less obvious djent/-core so I'll opt for a deletion here. If they ever release something else in the style of the EP, they're back in.

Thanks a lot, Azmodes, for checking the bands. In regards to Front 776, II'll have only torepeat, that I am pretty sure, that it sounds almost exacttly as the blBlitzkrieg material, if it even can change anything. Maybe the moderators did not have the chance to compare it, I don't know?
Direct comparison:
https://www.bitchute.com/video/V0gaIQv82DSJ/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDYEM7XcROk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFNOw8zioIQ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPvfta8R2FI
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14DfFnc4xhg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmYrsO2bUew
It sohuld be also ponted out, that Front 776, Blitzkkrieg and the already deleted band Heiliger Krieg shate many smimiliarities in style, they play th so called "modern rac" , which has some influences form heavy metal , hard rock and even memedieval folk rock, as is the case with blitzkirg and Fromt 776.

^According to the rules, you did the right thing there, Spook. However, I really think this should change, and I hope Morrigan, Derigin and Azmodes will chime in on this, because maybe they can see or foresee something I can't.

I'm of the opinion that compilation tracks should be considered as valid as a single. I'm not arguing that compilations should be listed. No. I'm just saying that a band who recorded and released a song or two on a compilation or a +6-way split should be considered valid. True, they won't have releases listed on their page, but there will be an additional note about their compilation appearance(s).

E.g. https://www.discogs.com/Various-No-Deso ... e/10145907
Nemesis' two songs on this 7-way split should be their ticket to make it to MA. The other bands promoted a demo in the booklet but Nemesis didn't. Be that for financial reasons or otherwise, I don't know. Nevertheless, they did record and release two songs. This is a fact, and, if you think about it, it doesn't clash with the rules. It just simply means that the release won't be listed on the page, and that a note will have to suffice.

I don't see any reason why official/sanctioned compilations shouldn't be considered valid just for the fact that they can't be listed. Am I missing something?

Merci d'avance for having a look at this.

Report for Olypus from band manager, apparently their album Gods isn't officially released yet:

Art of Suffering sounds like a mixture of rock styles without predominantly being metal based off of their second album called "Leuchte auf". Their page lists two albums but I was only able to find the one. I'm not sure if this would warrant deletion based off of one album alone but IMO it's not metal.

Also, Slab purports to be "thrash/death metal/crossover" but sounds more like unacceptable metalcore/hardcore to me.

One more, Saw sounds more like metalcore than death metal. It may be borderline though. I was only able to find the tracks from their second album for this one as well.

Yet another one, Full Scale Conflict sounds more like metalcore/deathcore than death metal. There are some metal riffs here and there, moreso on the first album, but overall I think the -core elements are more prominent than anything else.

I think these should be merged, or at least a minor name change should be applied (I guees "ec" are just the letters of country of origin, as the logo is still the same):

Copied and pasted from a report put in by BlackFlag:
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Panic_Idols/125425
This is "distorted", modern... Melodic Hard Rock.
Considering it was accepted based on their first demo, only two songs are barely "melodic metal", IMO: Troubled Mind and Take Your Time. You can listen them live here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCvhkXWvt3Y

The other songs are either ballads or predominantly hard rock:

Their second release, Change is Melodic Hard Rock aswell, with some metal plucking here and there:

The CD is only pre-order (shipping from May 1), and the digital version is for 666 Eur (https://narbentage.bandcamp.com/album/s ... of-suicide), what is not considered a legit release. Unless there're other proves, which I can't find.

Same for this band:

The album is available for streaming on YouTube only (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-RNO8iILWc), while the digital version on BandCamp is available for 500 Eur (https://svetblackmetal.bandcamp.com/releases).

Deleted Screams of Suicide (Germany) - technically hasn't been released yet, as CD is still set for pre-order and digital release is set for a high price of 666 Euros. Talked over with mods the fact that as of earlier today you receive the digital release right away by pre-ordering the CD, and it was decided that this was likely an error by the label which could be withdrawn at any time, and that it's best to wait until the digital format is priced reasonably before the band is added to the site.
