Deleted Spetälsk from Sweden, the album is the exact same tracks from Drama's (Russia) album Winds Choir Opera, with them just in a different order. Not even plagiarized, but Drama's literal recordings.

I'm going to second the petition for Break Point's removal. Elephants has maybe two tracks that are indisputably Metal. The rest is a mix of AOR, Hard Rock and even stuff that's faintly Disco/Synthpop in places.

Maniacs makes a stronger case for their inclusion, but even then, only five or six tracks could be considered Metal. The rest is pure AOR ballads. If it stays in, it's going to rank as Metal-Archives's most barely Metal album.

Yes, it's a bit harder than the debut, but still predominantly AOR.

Agreed, deleted. Now to hopefully never having to listen to this piece of shit band again.

Agreed, but I'll talk to the mod who approved it first. EDIT: Toast.

Good to known I'm not losing it.

I'm looking forward to what you think about Yajaira and Hielo Negro.

1) WTF?
2) The info here needs to be changed. I'd suggest to write a sentence concerning the now nuked Spetälsk. https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Spetälsk/7951

Deleted The Bones of God (Australia) just added by me. According to their Facebook page, the release should be a five-track EP. The current EP on their Bandcamp has only two tracks.

System Of A Down? I support the petition for the removal of the band , too. Ththe Discogs.com page is also brutally honest about their style:
https://www.discogs.com/Small--No-Power ... e/13811163
P.s. Old school nu-metal is an intrsting oxymoron, equal to old school new wave bands.

In December of 2016, I petitioned for Sledge Hammer / 鐵槌 on account of their album 日本狼 / Wolves of Japan but was denied by Metantoine and OpsiusCato who both deemed the album Heavy Rock'n'Roll with some thrashy riffs and Lemmy-esque vocals. Earlier this year, Witcher was able to get them accepted. What's more is the band doesn't appear to have a thread in the appeals board.

Not upset, but curious as to what made you change your mind.

I went through their disco, except for the last one. Was close to nuking them, but at least Vuelve a arder seems heavy enough? Overall more abrasive and -more importantly- doomier and chunkier when it comes to the riffs than the rest.

I would agree it's more abrasive, but I'm not sure I think it's "doomier"; but it's up to you.

Ronnie Ripper's Private War (SWe): not heavy metal, but punk'n'roll in the style of The Hellacopters, except for the song Thrash Metal, Satanism and Beer:
https://www.reverbnation.com/ronnierippersprivatewar
https://www.youtube.com/user/RonnieRipper

Now, this is technicaly a side project, but I don't think , that Turbocharged or this project hahave such a major impact on the metal world as bands like Metallica, Megadeth etc. do.

Tarkus (Per): The band plays predominantly psychedelic hard rock. It may have some brief proto-metal parts, but to call it heavy/doom metal is a big stretsch. The band nver reaches the heaviness of Balck sabbath or the aggressivity of Toni Iommi's riffing. The second album is also in similar style to their first one:

Even 10 moderators making a jamboree would not make the band sound like real doom metal, but fine, it's your eresponsibility for the site for its good services and informative content, but also for its mistakes. ... Thanks for the fast reply, though.

I see why they'd get brought up, but Tarkus are one of the contextual semi-exceptions as a proto-metal act based on their exceptionally heavy and doom metal-esque debut. As OC said, the decision to include them was agreed upon by multiple mods.

What is the policy around them, then, since the rules say that a band must have a valid release to be added to the archives, but there seem to be many bands without any.

They need to have a valid release, but there are cases where we know a release happened, but there's something missing (usually tracklist and/or release year) that prevents us from adding it to the discography tab. Those should have a note about the release in their additional notes though.

Not metal. Not even close. Did you ever listen to the full track? I have the release and have written a review about it. I can send the track to someone.

Judging from the submission notes, only 2 of the 6 parts were included.
Feel free to send it my way:

Any news on this?

Might Of Rage /Germany(- LLast time I brought up the band, I had only three songs available, and the review ended rather inconclusive. Now I have found all their three albums and i must say, that their first album from 1999is mostly pure New York style hardcore in the style of Sick Of It All and smilar, while the other two albums are mmodern style metallic hardcore in the style of Hatebreed , biohazard and Madball. So, please, if you could look at it:
