Rotten Incarnation (Sweden) - accepted by mistake. I already filed a report but it doesn't hurt to bring them up here as well.

Deleted (all from Indonesia): Witchcraft, Kereta Senja, Stage 666, Sleithvack, Thunder Gods. Digital releases determined to be invalid because artwork is the logo of Bandcamp label.

The only two sludge songs in their entire discography is the split. The rest is hardcore punk. I am okay with it staying but that should be reflected in the genre or removed.

Deleted the following bands - VR for all was the same Bandcamp page, which was deemed questionable; releases there may not be considered official by the bands featured on it. All from Indonesia: Black Ring, Valefor, Pesanggrahan, Pesugihan, Casper, Karuhun Iblish, Kutenk, Lumpang Kentenk, Stalaktit, Creature, Theatre of Death.

Can anyone tell me why this band was accepted? Doesn't sound like the usual metalcore bands that get accepted to me.

More like hardcore/alternative with some groove metal touches (guess it is called nu metal then?). Samples are found only here though:

Yeah, I don't think the proportionality is really sufficient here, especially since it's common for these thrashcore/pv bands to indulge in some sludge songs. Removed (for the time being, at least).

Deleted. For the record, this was referring to the Finnish band Rauta and they're primarily folk rock.

Any more samples? I can only access three samples on VK and two of them are super short.

Regarding Vnuki Schwarzeneggera: The lst.fm page is also official and contains some samples, but I don't know, if anyone from the staff can play them. The music descriptionon their Discogs page is also quite clear:

Minor name change, plus only one demo under this name. I think it should be merged with D Creation.

Can just anybody tell me why, bands like Metalite, Amaranthe, Rage of light, Volturian are here in archives? All these bands sounds like total pop sh * t, i cant understand how can call themselves a METAL ...

The bands like Turmion Kätilöt are banned here because in admins opinion they are not metal enought, although they sound three times havier than bands i mention before. So this is a very big hypocrysy.

The policy of this side is quite ridiculous...

I really can't understand it.

One of this site's primary criteria for acceptance is predominance of metal riffing. As far as that is concerned, we're looking at each band individually, sometimes in the form of multiple mods sharing their thoughts, to determine whether a band's music is primarily driven by metal riffs. From the bands you cited, I'm only familiar with Turmion Kätilöt (more industrial than metal) and Amaranthe (which are actually not listed), so I can't comment on the other bands. In any event, please make sure to read the rules and the guidelines for the Appeals subforum to get a better understanding of how we do things here before namedropping bands willy-nilly.

I added a note to the page of Random (Ger): "Random has been accepted onto the site based on their 1990 album "Randomised." If that album is determined to be more rock than metal they can be deleted. Sounds fine to me, though.

Hello I just noticed that https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Hrnn/3540484084 is actually the same band as https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Hreinn/3540393421 with a name change from Hreinn to Hrnn so I assume these two pages should be merged. I will update the pages regardless though, not to forget the info. Also the genre should be sludge/doom metal.

Never seen this band here before. Anyway, this isn't power/prog metal. It's funky, alternative groove metal.
