Deleted Genocide (Poland) - it is the same band as Genoside, later renamed Cydhie Genoside (already on the site). The 'zine that the information about their first demo release was sourced from had their name misspelled 'Genocide'.

Deleted Blackout (US) - I added them because there is a 7" that has one metal song, one rock song - then I discovered that they had another single out that isn't metal, so they're not primarily a metal band.

Thunder and Lightning is unambiguously a Heavy Metal album, albeit 50/50 with the Metal edging out the Rock. Everything else is primarily Hard Rock with a few Metal songs, although Chinatown is perhaps Thin Lizzy's second most metallic album.

I'm no mod, but from my ears, those are the two that immediately come to mind.

Both of those are (great) heavy metal/hard rock albums in my opinion.

MDL, about the question if Dyskrasia to Dyskrasic Experiment is a minor name change - probably, but it could use another opinion just to be sure.

Seeing how the band wasn't accepted until July 24th, 2014, I'm assuming they got on here based on the album Pike 64, but I could be wrong.

definitely believe this page should have a note that explains what got him on the site (or at least the one that finally broke the mold)

Deleted Sanguis In Nocte from Hungary. Industrial rock meets medieval folk, more so weighted on the folk and industrial bits.

https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Desecrated_Grave/45508

All three releases have the information that it was only ever given to friends.

----------------------------

but before action on this band is taken:

Another thing:
https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/D ... ring/92569
and the logo here
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/No ... opsy/67278

are the same. Which should not be, because these are two different bands. There is something not right here.

The logo for Nocturnal Necropsy has been corrected. As for Desecrated Grave, while each release has the note that copies were only given to friends, the quantity of the releases (50, 30, and 30) are mentioned. This might validate the releases, but needs further input from a moderator who can say for certain.

Report about Bloodquest (Arizona, US) - needs another moderator's opinion.

Deleted Aftermath (UK) - some information about them turned out to be incorrect, and the samples sound more punk than metal.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is a whitewashing attempt from Azgorth. Considering the series of events on the report page for Dark Adversary records, the timing of this report is really suspect.

I actually downloaded the release as well, just out of curiosity. In my opinion, the report is rather reasonable. Here's the link to judge yourselves:

I agree. Apart from the one song that was also provided back in 2013, this isn't metal. Regardless of the suspect timing, it doesn't belong.

https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Sa ... 3540505650 the demo is released by a bootleg label, similar to the other bootleg Indonesian labels on the site. Any proof that the demo was indeed officially released by the band? I totally understand that no one wants to go through the already added Indonesian bands based on bootleg releases, but at least we can stop/be more prudent in accepting them. In summary, there is a trend of Indonesian bootleg labels (Bandcamp based labels) who tend to "archive" i.e. digitally release the music of fellow Indonesian bands without the consent of the bands. Surprisingly this looks normal in Indonesia. A number of those bands made their way into the Metal Archives based on the said non official releases. I previously brought up the issue but I don't recall where.

For the link 2 posts up - it was determined that this shouldn't be considered a minor name change, and 2 pages will be fine, as it is now.

Deleted Str@in (Portugal) - primarily nu-metal.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ms2Ko1X200

- just gave a listen to the pre-Str@in band Crackdown's second demo, and it is also nu-metal:
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Crackdown/76041
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aB_o524Ihc&t=746s
They have a demo out from the year prior, "Against the Rules" ('96) that I couldn't find after looking for audio for a couple of minutes (the link on the Portugal Downloads page is dead). Have changed their genre from Thrash Metal to Groove/Nu-Metal in the meantime, but it would be great to hear their first release to know for sure - otherwise, this band should be deleted as well. To note, one of the songs on the first release, "Hidden Propaganda" can also be found on a 1997 compilation CD, "Promúsica 9".

Best regards, KingSpooky. I got two albums under the name Crackdown listed as Nu-Metal/Rapcore. However, it says that band is from Italy and not from Portugal. A little strange. Maybe, the music download page put a wrong country. Do you want that I post the albums?

Sure, Stealth - that would be great. The 5 songs that we're looking for are the '96 demo, "Against the Rules":
1.Uncomfortable Silence / 2.Supreme Truth Bullshit / 3.Painfull Eyes / 4.Pára de sofrer / 5.Hidden Propaganda

Here's another band to take a look at, which a report came in for:

I already checked the album tracklists and none of these songs appear on the tracklists. And also according to Discogs, the members aren't the same. Apparently, it's another band with the same name and genre.

However, I'll post the two albums anyway. Are here:
