I've restored it after proof for a CD has come to light.

Talked it over with another mod and we think it's metal enough.

Thanks. Thhere's also the pre-Stampede band lLautrec, which imo plays similar kind of hard rock. The A side from their singele "Mean Gasoline" was even later published as a Stampede song on one of their albums. The song is similar to AC/DC both musically and lyrically and the second song on the single, "Shoot Out the Lights" is not much heavier:

YoYou can read here, tha British Lion member Richard Taylor considers the band to be the continuationg of the origianl British Lion from the nineties rather than a sside project of an iron Maiden member:

In the light of all this, is there really a reason to still keep British Lion listed in the database?

Deleted Worldscross. Accepted on a single song and after acquiring the entire album it turned out to be mainly rapcore/groove.

Deleted Al Qaynah again. There doesn't appear to be any valid release; only an assortment of individual songs recorded over the span of years for different purposes and compiled into a number of contradictory tracklists online. Tracklist order, if you could call it that, on the official website is ever changing.

Both albums are now on YouTube for those interested in handling this inquiry.

The Metal moments on both albums are: "希望ノ灯", "古狼ノ血涙", "戦場の陽溜り", "澪ノ風" and "圖南ノ鵬翼"

The rest is a mix of Oi!, Melodic Hardcore, Skate Punk and Alternative Rock

Raw Power (Italy)
Though crossover thrash, they're more on the punk side than the metal, at least based on the skim through their discography I had. Metal moments for sure, but not enough to be on here IMO.

According to MA standards, the band has no valid recording. These two songs are just adv. The full release will be at the end of 2020. On physical medium. Digital 2021 !!!

Regarding Raw Power: Here's also the album Too Tough To Burn, since it was one of the two albums crucial for the acceptance:

Raw Power were approved primarily based on the 1989 and 1993 albums. Three moderators were in agreement on this, they stay.

Triplesix (Netherlands)
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Triplesix/78379
I think this is a very questionable inclusion. We all know that alternative metal is unacceptable on this website and I couldn't any samples on the internet at all. So I think this should be removed unless someone can provide some links or samples for a re-evaluation of their genre. I've found some songs on their myspace, but they can't be played for some reason. https://myspace.com/triplesixnl/music/songs

All of the music on Myspace was lost in a server migration in 2015, sadly.

We can't delete bands based purely on what their genre is on the site; we'll need to hear song samples to take action.

Good job! I listened to the songs in this file and it sounds like death metal to me, so the genre should definitely be re-evaluated. Don't know if they changed the style later, but this guy might know something https://www.facebook.com/pg/wilmarbjtaa ... e_internal since he was the last known member of the band.

Deleted Hate from Novara, Piedmont. The mentioned demo appears to actually be a release by another one of the artist's bands, namely SN.

Deleted Compression from Towson, Maryland. A report came in to change the genre from Heavy Metal, and then it was mentioned that they aren't really a metal band. After listening, I don't think they belong on the site, either.

Yesterday also deleted: Necropolis (Chicago, Illinois) - (duplicate entry with Zion, Illinois band), Krypta (US) - their '89 demo is actually Kripta (Brazil)'s '88 demo - a mistake made by tape traders at some point), Conspiracy (Helen, New Mexico) - duplicate entry, Disarm (US) - what has been passed off as a US band's 1988 demo is side B of Disarm (Japan)'s 1988 demo.

I consider Six Feet Under (Swe) to be a metal band. Some people find the first album to be a heavy metal classic. They're just playing on it from a different angle and kind of energy. They're a lot like the band Wizz who are on the site ("Crazy Games" LP). There's a lot of pure rock still in their sound, not many years outside of the '70s.
