When submitting a new band to the archives, is adding all of its albums necessary? And when it's a predominantly non-metal band, will submitting the metal albums be enough? (so if they'll get accepted, their other non-metal albums will be added)

sure. While we prefer more complete submissions, it's not mandatory to fill in every gap and add every album, those can always be fixed afterwards.
