Absolutely astounding. I may download this album just to hear the monstrous pogos.

It is done. Max and Igor are again with the poster of a single project. Code name: Cavalera Conspiracy. For the occaz the frangins associated the services of Marc Rizzo (Soulfly) but especially of our Joe Duplantier national. Good is well to make the mariole with a line up which is more than glittering, but it will be necessary to send the heavy one because the comparison with a certain group is likely to be felt, but made confidence with max, it succeeded has to leave us two three small bombinettes behind the faggots.

If one were to make a rather summary summary we let us can say that Inflikted is a kind of Arise soulflyesque. A skilful mixture enters the legend of Sepultura and a modernity found the entrails of the "new" baby of max. There is only to be caught "Sanctuary" in full head to realize of the potential of the album. Riff thrashy has wish with a song more modulated than ever. The live one promises some contusions. As us announced it the two brothers the tribal influences so expensive with Supultura are done more discrete, leaving the place and a brutal deterrent force like could it be Nailbomb. "Nevertrust" is the typical example of this effectiveness. Lyrics with the service of the percussif riff, not of ornaments. The title which drew more my attention is cavity "Ultra-Violent one" or one finds Joe with the song and Rex Brown (ex-Pantera, Down) with low. Even its guest is limited a little to the level of the impact musical, the result is rather convincing and there too that is likely to make badly into live. With dimensions Soulfly is prevalent on certain titles like the not less excellent "" Bloodbrawl ". Jumpy like never, it would really not have made spot in the discography of the group of Max.

While speaking about max it loves its family to such a degree that even its wire comes to make a small appearance on this wafer. The EC is on it is well Cavalera Conpsiracy. Small emotion thus on "Black Ark", or Richie goes there from its small voice. Level production Logan Mader has Fait wonders with a sound of scrapes enormous on the rhythmic one. On the other hand I find that some soli of Marc are well too ahead and too acute compared to general sonorities. It is only my opinion but good, this gene feeling only on some passages, nothing good engrave I appeared to me think.

A good gross slaughter daN this kind which leaves hoped for ebullient heat in the pit. Max at best of its form, Igor at best of its form been useful by two other musicians of talents and veiled Inflikted which will hurt. Highly this summer that goes pogoter severe in the festivals and everywhere in the world!!!!!!
WTF is a pogoter ?

A capitalization fiasco for Overkill's Feel the Fire

Long live the spirit...! - 96%
Written by araz on May 15th, 2008

When I wanted to listen to this album for the fist time, I thought I'm making mistake one of Iron Maiden Albums with this one! Well, the voice of Bobby
Blitz is much similar to the Majestic Vocal of Iron Maiden, Bruce Dickenson. At list in this debute. I realy like it

But is not the only good point about this album. Feel the Fire along with Taking Over are the best releases of Overkill. They are something between Classic Thrash and Speed Metal, And even a little bit of Power Metal in songs like kill at commands, or in great riffs of the opennig song Feel the Fire. The Vocal of Bobby can even compared to great singers like Ronnie James Dio or Bruce Dickenson. But as a sorrow, it became thrashy and beast in their late releases.

I belive feel the fire will be the most everlasting album of Overkill, which can be even more enjoyable in next years of 21 Century.

For Emperor's In the Nightside Eclipse

Hmmm... - 78%
Written by JeanFrancois on May 16th, 2008

This album has its good points and bad ones

The good ones:

-Into the infinity of thaughts and Inno a satana. Those two tracks are not just the best of the album, They are some of the best in whole black metal.
-Nice cover
-Very good drummer

Bad point:

-All the other tracks, Way to much keyboard, boring, and no darkness in the other tracks.
-Ishanh's voice can be a little bit annoying

You must buy this album juste for the first and last tracks. maybe you will like the other ones as well.

One for Suicide Silence's The Cleansing

Ownage - 90%
Written by Acey on May 16th, 2008

This is without a doubt the best Deathcore band out
mitch's vocals will be like Oli's from BMTH you will either love em or hate them, whats great is you can still make out what the lyrics are even when he screams high or low pitched vocals

on the other points the drumming and guitars shred!
plenty of fast riffs and breakdowns to keep the pit kids happy.

reason it gets 90 and not 100 is Green Monster has what The Agony Scene has... a really gay stupid long outro at the end of the song for about 2 mins! and hands of a killer isnt that great.

Highlights: Unanswered, The Fallen, Bludgeoned to Death, Green monster, Destruction Of A Statue

Every loves " No Pity For A Cowards " end breakdown

------------
What? Is that last thing a sentence?

A review for King Diamond - The Graveyard

You Have To Understand This Record - 92%
Written by DrPiratarecords on May 17th, 2008

This Record is The most Insane Record Of King Diamond, KD make you are part of the story like in no other disc do.
Maybe is not the best in musical way, but if you like conceptually disc this was one of the greatest, you catch the history in the very firts song and your continue feeling as you are King to the end.
This relly could be a book Of Stephen King like "The Shinning", is totally a psychological thriller, and the exagereted vocals of KD is just part of the History, the lyrics in "I Am" makes you feel the insanity of the main character.
You Have To Understand This Record to enjoy like I do every time i hear it.
Not the best album of KD, but still one of the best conceptual album of the heavy metal

-------

Just thinking about what "The Shinning" would be like if it were real...would it be about an insane psychopath who removes people's shins? A guy with metal feet who runs around and kicks people in the shins, leaving really painful bruises?

What's more baffling is that he misspelled "shining," but spelled "psychological" correctly.

Now I'm strangely disappointed that there's no concept band which revolves around shin-kicking.

Reviews for Satyricon's The Forest Is My Throne/Yggdrasill
dont listen to this - 0%
Written by razbijac_dasaka on May 19th, 2008

As simple as that.

The one and only reason of such an insulting message is so bad production. I know that black metal is good with low production but it is not good with so bad production because you are not able to hear anything.

Too good that I have an illegal version so my money is here.

I already have Enslaved's song Allfadr from their split with Emperor, Hordanes Land(highly recommended album). And I reduced the quality of that to 32 kbps(I am not joking). And guess what, the quality of sound was higher on that 32 kbps song than on the song from this split(which is ironically 128 kbps)

This will not be long.

As I have just said, this is enough for this review, I simply will not bother you with 100 pages to review an album on which I can not hear the songs because of such a poor production.

As simple as that.

I am at a loss...although that 'bum bastika' part sounds interesting and yes, business IS god.

His user name says it all -

Ljå's Skamslaadte Engler/Fredlos split

The best split around - 100%
Written by Failure on May 29th, 2008

Here we are presented with whats easily the highlights of both Ljå's and Koldbranns career, this split is a must have for collectors since the material is the strongest that has ever been laid on a split record.

In Koldbrann's Fredløs theres a thick and good production, and his screams are the best crossover clean/black you will ever heard, the sincerity in his voice makes every word sung beliveable and true.
The song starts out with a really good feedback sound, wich kind of makes it a little rock and roll, same goes for his fast moans (ØH UH AH).
Lyrics are genius heres a litte translated poorly in english:

Fredløs means no peace or with no peace

A stench of angst
In the air
Can you feel it's thight grip
Devour you slowly
Like a victim of violence in a city(or something :D)

Now here to the best song ever of Ljå

Skamslådte engler is very old school in someways, but the ending has genius punkish solo that will grow balls with hair on anything.

Skamslådte Engler means Shamebeaten angels and is a song about the homecoming to heaven for fallen angels.

A short translation of the lyric:

Wings are torned
Torned
Angels with no life
On our way home
where we came from
Wings are torned
Torned
Angels with no life
On our way home
where we came from

Tears that burn
and theeth that scratches

Not more to say than that :)

----------------------------

Wanna bet?
