Vela Pulsar just got accepted into the archives, and it would be great to have a review! Post-black metal with symphonic touches; for fans of Alcest, Uada, Altar Of Plagues, Aquilus, Caladan Brood and Agalloch.

My band Begravement just announced our debut EP, Conjuring the Necromancer. It'll be released on January 29 and is currently available for a digital or CD pre-order on our Bandcamp, as well as on all other digital platforms. I'm willing to send one or two reviewers the tracks in advance in exchange for an honest review when it comes out. Just reply to this or shoot me a DM if you're interested.

Abyssal Rites - The Final Advance (ep, 2020)
Black metal from Oklahoma, USA. We'd love some some insights on our new ep. We're up on the Metal-Archives, as well.

Stream/Purchase below, any reviews would be killer.

Just curious, it's my first time posting in this thread and I'm wondering if the albums we're requesting others to review should be virgins? I can think of tons of releases on-site that are criminally underrated that I feel don't have enough reviews, is it frowned upon to ask for MORE REVIEWS for an album that already has at least one?

Hi!

I request my own:

https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Va ... 3540478450

TO REVIEW: Van Mardigain - Prophecy of Blood

https://open.spotify.com/album/1FZLKTC0 ... fKLJMHeATQ

Can be found also at : https://www.youtube.com/vanmardigain

GENRE: is Experimental Metal, with a lot of influences from Heavy and Black metal. The structure of the tracks are progressive and genres are mixed. Also rock and roll and psychedelic influences here and there.

Hi Everybody, it's only a suggestion but I think the band Cult of Occult deserve a review since they have none so far. I don't have a specific album in mind but one of their best is definitely Five Degrees of Insanity. If anybody is interested it would be cool to read. For those who don't have a clue what I'm talking about, they are a Sludge/Doom band hailing from France. They are somewhat similar to Primitive Man and Indian.

Thanks!

Hey! I'll def review it! Prob can't be until maybe(?) first week next month, cause I already have 5 promised band reviews I absolutely HAVE to get done before the end of this month, but I just Wishlisted your album, so I will not forget, I'll def send ya a message the moment I've both written it, and have submitted it. So, if ya can wait about 2 weeks or less, I can absolutely promise you, I got ya covered! ;)

Hi! Has anyone yet taken you up on this!? If not, or even if they have I'll def give it a review! Just checked out Destroying Angel, and.... WOW, fucking beast, man! SO, yeah!

As I was just replying to Metalhead3457786, about his album review request, def love the music, so I can def promise a review, but can't be until sometime prob first week in February, as I have 5 promised band's album reviews that I absolutely HAVE to get done by the end of this month. So, if ya don't mind waiting just a bit, I'll def do one for ya!

Since I won't be able to review it possibly until then, when you would like for it to be done (in advance), I will still def write one for you guys, nonetheless, cause I really do love what I'm hearing thus far from you guys! So, I have just Wishlisted your new album so I won't forget!

Thanks Spider! We don't need a review any specific time, so feel free to get it done whenever you can. And no, nobody else has offered yet. Cheers!

Hello

My post metal/doom/sludge band Devastating Light recently released an EP and it would be great if someone would give it an honest review.

I have already failed you is a theme album about a man suffering from depression and becoming a father while the world is ending. It explores feelings of not being or doing enough and the fear of somehow passing on the disease to the child. Is it even right to bring a child into this world that is slowly ending?

Once again talking about my band Begravement's brand-new EP. It was just released about twenty minutes ago and we're very proud of it. It's mostly death metal, but draws some influences from thrash and prog as well. It's available on CD through our Bandcamp and for streaming on all platforms; it'll be hosted on Decibel Magazine's website later today as well. We'd love an honest review or two!

I had a listen to a few tracks and I must say, it's pretty impressive. Not bad at all. If I can summon the work ethic to write a review for it, I will.

Would anybody be willing to review my bands newest album "The Age of Decadence", freshly released last fall.

It was supposed to be reviewed by five_nails who previously did our first album, but apparently he got banned or deleted his account along with all his reviews.

Yeah what happened to that guy? He wrote a review for one of my bands and it got deleted later when he left :/ (sorry to derail the thread; just curious)

Idk, either he got deleted off the site for something or he deleted his own account. It unfortunate because he had already reviewed my bands first album and was set to review the new one.

It would be awesome if anyone would review my bands first 3 song release. It's black metal, one fast one, one midpaced, and one more of a doom track. We're working on a full length that I think will expand and improve on the atmospheres explored on this quite a bit.

Thematically it explores the idea of Christ and Satan being the same being just viewed from different angles, and that wars, revolutions, and all the evils and misery of the world are self generated and that basically we deserve to get what's coming good and hard.

Thanks

Hey yall, its been a very long time since ive been here! I was recently pulled back because I found out my band has been added! In all honesty, its something ive always wanted. (I know, kinda lame!) Just thought id throw our hat in the review ring for anyone interested in an Atmospheric Sludge/Post Metal album. Harsh and clean vocals. 7 songs @ 45mins.

Hi, we are a band from Sweden. We play some sort of modern melodic death metal with progressive leanings. Our debut EP ''The Futility of Man'' was released January 22nd, 2021.

Hi !

My one-man project CAVE BLIND just released new album "Cry Of The Dying bard". I was inspired by very old Running Wild, Manowar and Bathory influances.
If you will be interested in review, it will be a big thing for me. I am still operating even under the underground :)

You can listen to the whole album here :

Or you can download the albumin mp3 format here :

It'd be great to hear someone's thoughts on my band Starscape's debut album "Colony". It's traditional, slightly progressive, heavy metal with lots of melody, prominent bass lines and the occasional organ part.

Hello, I have a one-man band called Ceolskog, from New Zealand. I would probably describe my style as a cross between folk metal and plain old heavy metal. Or maybe heavy metal with some light touches of folk music is a better way to describe it, I don't know. No harsh vocals, it's all clean singing, so if that isn't your thing, you may want to avoid my stuff, haha.

I've released two EPs (in 2015 and 2020), and four full albums (one in 2016, two in 2017, and one in 2018). I am currently working on another album. Anyway, I would really appreciate it if someone here would review one of my albums or EPs, preferably one of the more recent ones.

If anyone is interested in reviewing some turn-of-the-millennium styled power metal after the mode of Rhapsody Of Fire, Gamma Ray, Freedom Call, Edguy, Avantasia, and Virgin Steele with some traces of Symphony X-styled power/prog and some older 80s heavy metal trappings, my band's debut album could use some attention. Almost all of the material was written between 2001 and 2003, so while it has a present day production, it'll sound like it was written 20 years ago. If anybody needs more information they can either message me or visit the band's Facebook page (link in my sig) where I put up a lot of background info about the writing and recording process. Thanks everyone.

Bumping this again even though it's received a review; one user in particular who had promised us a review has since been, uhhh, banned, and deleted all their reviews. More input is always welcome!

Would really appreciate if someone felt like reviewing this bunch of songs:

https://prigioneeterna.bandcamp.com/album/residues

Mostly thrash metal with some noise, some hardcore, a little prog. Sludgy and doomy at times, almost psychedelic at others.
The intention was to do something close in spirit to Celtic Frost's Into the Pandemonium or Black Sabbath's later albums with Ozzy; that is, mostly hard and heavy but with a few exotic things thrown in.
Thanks!

My band just released a new single. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to review it. [url]https://gallowshymn.bandcamp.com/track/marriage-to-the-sea-single[/url

We play a mix of progressive metal with folk, symphonic and extreme influences.

Hello! I am new to the thread, this is literally my first day. I have a black metal band called Satan Destroyer. This IS a Christian/Unblack metal band! We are based out of Maryland, Virginia and Ohio here in the USA. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to write a review of my latest Full length "Ov Damnation". It's a pretty good album and I am very proud of it. And I know this may throw people off that a "Christian" is asking for critique other than the usual "it sucks" type stuff. But be objective please I want some details about how I can improve myself. I tried to submit a request but i think my label already registered me. IDK. Like I said though, I am looking for honest critique and not just flagrant curses! I guess I should post my music here in a link so that you can listen.

Bandcamp: http://satandestroyer.bandcamp.com

All of my music to date is on there and we are also on spotify and youtube also.

Thanks for listening and looking forward to seeing some reviews!!

blessings, Lord Enochaim - Founder/Guitar/Vocals

Obsolete - Animate//Isolate

I would review this if it weren't for my proximity to the band's local scene, but I think this album rips. It just came out today and is made up of unrelenting technical thrash metal with some death metal influences. Think Coroner, Vektor, Toxik, etc.

Maneater - Survival of the Fittest

Just released the first EP of my animal themed death metal band. Strong doom influence, lots of didgeridoo and other exotic elements, barely 17 minutes long. Check it out! Would appreciate some feedback.
