That would probably do it. I could charge a certain amount for a review and then have a discount if the requester tells me what to say about it so I don't have to bother listening. I believe that's how professional reviewers do it.

Peregrin, I have a $15 credit at Open Grave Records. Do I want Atavism or Hardworlder? Hardworlder is $2 cheaper if it's a tie.

(Open Grave is having a $5 sale on lots of cds if anyone cares, although most of them look sucky besides Deceased)

Hardworlder is the better of the two.

No reviews for Senmuth, yet? If ZBT and also Heirdrain have at least one review, this band deserves some attention, too. ;)

I think I listened to a Senmuth album once, no doubt it coincided with me falling into a deep coma. A billion and one releases and yet not a thing worth listening to.

I hope I'm not inquiring too much, but could someone purchase Xenophobia's latest release "We Are the True Xenophobia, Fuck Off" and review it? If you'd like, I'll pay for the review.

Just pay for the CD (and postage) and I'll do it. :nods:

How The World Came to an End Full-length, 2007 [edit] [1 review, 96%]

You just gotta be kidding me. A BM band turning to bad hip-hop and nobody is complaining about it?

I know, but I want it to be perfect. I've been sort of stuck, but you gave me more ideas tonight so I'll make more progress on it, especially over the next few days. It will be worth the wait. ;)

I'll give it a shot, but it won't be entirely negative. 50% or so.

if you request such a review you really should make the music of them available to the masses or at least to the person who wants to write on it. It looks like as if the time to find the music might take as would be necessary to write the review.

Sorry, I didn't realize that the last.fm link was deleted from the profile page.
Their promo cd can be downloaded here.

I'd really like to see a review of Jotunheim's (Swe) self-titled album. I fucking love it and really have no idea why, although I don't expect the reviewer to tell me why -I- like it, I'd just like to hear some other opinions on it.

maybe... but where to get it... if you can send me an upload you have made of it (in a zip-file; mp3 > 192 kbps) I will go for it.

Could someone perhaps write a review for Trust (Fra) - Répression (or any of the first four albums, really)? For a band that's supposedly really popular and have recorded a lot of stuff, it's sad that there isn't a single review for them yet. So, if anyone feels like it, I can upload the album on a file sharing service.
EDIT: I'm talking about the French versions just to be clear. The English versions are usually a lot worse.

Uh, hey mods. I submitted a Shining review 2 days ago and there hasn't been any word on it since then. A good amount of reviews of been accepted, but I submitted mine before and there hasn't been any notification of its fate.

Hells_unicorn, who seems to love female-fronted power metal as much as I do, should get his hands on some Edenbridge albums. They are in dire need of more reviews. Incredibly overlooked band.

I like their debut quite a lot too.

Their new album seems like a step in the modern direction, however :ugh:

I've been thinking about doing one.

Summoning's Lugburz needs more good reviews. 67% for an album that great is disgraceful.

Better get a move on, as I've finally overtaken you.

Now just 191 more reviews, and I'll be 4th yay.
