An user from here agreed to buy from me a lot of 6 cd's. I asked $50, 3 cd's at $10 each and 3 cd's at $5 each for a total of $45 for the cd's and $5 for shipping. He beg a bit so I agreed to sell the whole LOT for $45 with shipping on my side. This person claimed to had mailed the money to me on september 16, even on the 25 asked me if I had received it. The issue is that I got the $$ today and he really mailed it on October 3, almost 3 weeks later than what he said. I had on hold the cd's until last week when I got tired of waiting and got rid of 2 of them. Now he want me to refund full price for the 2 cd's that are not available anymore, but our agreement was that I would cover the shipping costs if buying the whole lot, what he failed to do for being a liar and mailing much later than agreed. I believe I have the perfect right to charge the shipping costs now because he failed to the agreement. Opinions?

couldn't agree more with this statement.
And then if you participate in this trading/buying thing then you know it will cost money, so if he's begging .....
he shouldn't be in here in the first place !

I agree as well. The most important aspects of trading/buying/selling is commincation and honesty. I don't mind holding cds for people for a few weeks or even longer if they stay in touch and are honest with me.

I do agree. If the buyer is really SERIOUS and HONEST, about what he want then must do what the term of the seller is. If he do not agree then "bye".
Why should we waste times with that.

And your point is?? It does not matter if he sent registered or by the pony express. He clearly wrote "Hi, your money was mailed today", then asked "Did you recieved the money?" before even mailing it!

And look at this, you are some kind of guru or mind reading person? You seems to know of whom I am talking about, so this give me more evidence to continue thinking that here are several users with multiple alias.

Look at what this user from here wants now:

"Hey I want to clear my name here! I've sent my payment the day I told you it was sent. I don't know if the local post office fucked me up and forget about my pack or whatever reasons it is.

I'm sending from the small post office branch near in my house so I don't know if they made the mistake or what.

Return my cash , instead of 45$ return me only 40$ .
My main wants were the Desaster cds and I'm no longer interested on this deal. "

And this is coming from a "good" trader in here. What can we expect from the bad ones then....

you're been unlucky.
in my opinion, i can hold some stuff for months if the buyer gives me regular updates.

if i don't hear news for 2/3 weeks, the cd is back for trading and no more on hold.

This could very well be true.... but in any case, the best thing would be to sort this out so that eveyone gets what they want in the end. If the cds that he wanted the most are already gone because of this, well... thats just kind of his bad luck really. Canceling the whole deal is kind of bullshit though....

Paypal is the best way to go ---> instant funds. Sure, there are fees involved, but I don't mind when it speeds things up a bit!
