Just a quick question on labels but basically what i'm asking is is there any labels that kind of put out more demo oriented stuff? Our last demo got picked up and is due to be released but we are looking to release and hopefully get some distribution going for out second one. Any advice? Anything would be appreciated. We aren't really connected to a scene so its been a tad hard to say the least.

you can check it out here if you're interested: https://themausoleum.bandcamp.com/album/pride-torment

Back before my band got onto Prosthetic Records we worked with HPGD Productions (Horror Pain Gore Death) out of Philly. They are great to work with and might be able to help you out. Not to mention that larger labels are connected with people there so they can help get your stuff into the right hands. They may want a longer length EP but not necessarily a full album and recording quality and process is up to you.

There are a couple dozen labels who put out black metal demo tapes, ranging from some that knowingly put out 33 copies of any garbage sent their way, to some who do 100-200 pro tapes for quality bands. You can find some of the releases/labels using the search function on the site - here's a list of black metal demo tapes released by labels in 2017.

Right on guys, thanks for the responses. Getting people to listen is difficult since we are both scratching our heads what to do besides just bandcamping it haha

At your level, a label will do nothing for you that you can't already do yourself.

Dark Descent do a lot of demos, but that's definitely more death metal based
