Hi

I am mostly comfortable singing clean stuff. Been trying lately to sing some black metal.
Tell me how it sounds?
Any advice on black metal vocals in general?

This is exactly what I wanted to ask. I'd love to start doing black metal vocals but I don't want to destroy my vocal chords, any advice on how to start?
Cheers :)

Sounds quite nice actually, at least what I'm able to hear through the tr00 kvlt production :)

If you have a solid grasp of breath support, and if your "clean stuff" is not all "squeaky clean" but rather with "rasp" (compression, false cords...), you're basically all set; the same principles apply, it's just further "theatrical" exaggeration from there, the "witchy voice" and so on. Basically BM vocals are like just another colour to your voice; if you have a C5 and above, you can use all those notes without problems. Maybe even easier than with cleans because you don't need to be thinking about precise pitch and tone purity.
