If so, PM me. I need a soloist for my new CD. The piece is not very difficult, but excellent intonation/expression is required, as well as recording quality.

Thanks!

Best of luck to you.. Im gonna need the same when Im ready for recording.

If all else fails there are people out there who can program orchestral instruments really well.

I could do some cello for you. I've played for 5 years.

Diabolikon -- PM Replied

Nordvang -- I've actually programmed everything else in the CD... tons of symphonic parts. But this last melody really needs a human touch, and I don't think a sampler would really do it justice.

I'd love to hear your music once it's recorded, if you could throw up a myspace or something, that'd be awesome.

I'm really liking your band, dude.
Also, were you going to send me the sheet music, or is it still in the making?

I am still preparing the sheet music. I just got home from spring break and I haven't really unpacked everything yet.

For those interested,

Here are the MP3s of the part:

Violin: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_so ... ID=7430011

Viola: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_so ... ID=7430009

Cello: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_so ... ID=7430007

And the sheet music: http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y218/e ... tMusic.jpg

Damn MIDI > Sheet music converting software didn't do the time signature right... It's 3/4.

I just borrowed the recording equipment today so I'll maybe be done in a week or two.

East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Silver *gasp for air*. The cello and double basses sound incredible on this library, too much reverb though.

My friend plays the violin. He's pretty good. He can do really fast arpeggio runs, it sounds pretty much like a bad ass sweep-picking kind of thing.
