Hey guys, I've got a paypal account and was wondering where the ideal place to get some strings would be... I'm looking for a way to bitch my bassist into tuning to G#.... What kind of strings would you suggest and where can I buy them? my local shops are pretty pathetic.

Daddario makes strings as thick as .145, Ernie Ball makes strings as thick as .135, you can find both in the companies online shops, depending on the amount of tension he currently uses you may want either, but likely nothing lighter. Juststrings most likely also carries them. Buy single ultra-heavy strings and you can use the bottom three of a standard set, or four if you have a five string.
