Hey,
Just curious if anyone in a band here has used Tunecore to get their albums onto emusic, itunes, amazon, etc. I have talked to one fellow who did say he has gotten paid for his most recent album on amazon's mp3 store, although he didn't specify what percentage he gets from the $8.99 they charge at amazon.

Ideally, I'd love to find a solution where the band gets their proper due (ie: the majority of a sale). I'd consider the possibility of an exclusive MP3 shopping cart solution if there's also a hosting provider with proper bandwidth for handling the traffic.

This is for an established band with a dedicated fanbase. They're independent minded, and have already decided against using iTunes, but are exploring other options.

I'd love to hear any experiences people here have had with getting stuff online and for sale.
