Whats up everyone. I recently recorded a thrash demo by myself doing all the instrumentation however when i listen to myself sing I'm not really sure if it is aggressive enough for the music....

I'm really looking for anyone who wants to take a shot at singing these songs (even if just for fun ). You can check em out here www.myspace.com/devilsadvocatethrash and ill post em for you along with the lyrics.

I really wanna know if anyone thinks the material is worth sending out to record companies at this point. So please give me your oppinions!

I think it's pretty good, actually. I'd be willing to record some vocals for you if you'd like me to. I'm not usually a thrash vocalist but I'll see what I can do if you like.

That would be awesome. Try whatever you like. I'm at work right now but later on tonight I'll post the instrumentals.

Is this still happening? I'm still up for it; it might take me a week or two to record vocals for you but I'd need instrumentals and lyrics first.

Yea Man Im sorry i just got slammed with school stuff and only got a chance to mix this down now.

It should be posted to the myspace now and here are the lyrics

Ripping forth with deadly force
all will die we have no remorse
all have come to sin as one
defy the laws lets get it done

chorus:
we have just begun to thrash
all posers must be smashed
we live by this holy law
thrash metal....Thrashmetalmassacre!

enter the realm and thrash to the healm
we turn to eleven in thrash metal heaven
nocked to the floor as you look to the door
well step on your jaw as you stand there in awe

REPEAT Chorus

bridge
were gunning
they're running
thrash terror running through your brain
high flying
people dying
thrash toxin runnin through your vains

repeat chorus

I could try doing vocals. I would like to have a 320 mp3 of instrumental track uploaded somewhere (if possible), like for example rapid share.

As for the material itself, I think it is a quite good fun Thrash. I prefer bass to be louder in the mix. As for your vocals they are quite fitting I should say and there is nothing wrong with them.

Your vocals seem fine as they are. It's very fitting. So's the production in fact. I think you can send this to people and see what they think. It's unlikely you will find a vocalist who is so much better for the music that it's worth sending shit back and forth on the internet, trying to get down each other's waking hours.

Don't change the vocals! They're fucking great, man! I think the production's fine, it could probably use a little fine-tuning but that's all. Not only is this way better than what most people post here, I think your stuff kills a lot of the major label modern thrash bands.

I'm in the process of starting a very small label/distro and I'm definitely planning on keeping an eye on your project. We could at least get you some art and a CD pressing and help you get discs out there.

Dude thanks a lot everyone!

I was planning on giving up music because no one plays it and I can't find any bandmates that enjoy thrash (they all are in love with the beatdown its the father figure they've never had).

Anyways I have around 10 songs written I just havn't had a chance to record them all due to school. Sokaris if your serious please keep in touch!!! Friend me on myspace or send me an email. Whatever you have to do. I really appriciate the compliments and would definately be down with any help I can get. This summer I am going to get a legitimate demo together redoing all the parts and fine tuning everything.

If anyone plays guitar bass or drums too please let me know! I live around Pittsburgh (right now im in ohio) but Im graduating next year so that will free up my time quite a bit.

If Death Frog wants to take a shot at the vocals I will post a 320 mp3 on rapid share (again right now im at work).

I put together a really lo-fi, improvised recording of some vocals for the song tonight. It's kinda shitty (I'm a little bit off-time at some points), but it should give you an idea of what the song would sound like with me on vocals. I recorded at my friend's place so once he sends me the files, I'll pm you all my takes.

thats cool tomash Im pumped to hear it. Heres another question. Do you guys think it would be smarter to first do a small demo (2 or 3 songs) and send it out in a nice presskit or do a full length immediately?

First off your recordings are awesome :P. Yeah it would be better to do a smaller demo as you can get advice and suggestions before you go all out with the full length.

Do a small demo, but I'd do about 4-5 songs. Spread that shit all over the internet. Free download, mail the CD out for free, etc, just get your name out there so people recognize the band. Then start working on your full length.
