So yea, seriously...I just started Alchemist Records, which is a no-contract label that doesn't require any rights to your music. The main objective is to do limited releases where you'll get a small amount of money from each CD sold, and you don't have to put anything into the production of the CD's or shipping. It's the best possible way to support the underground metal scene that I can think of!

The label has just been started, so at this point, we're just scouting out high quality bands. Very soon though we'll be doing limited CD releases, 33 CD's at a time, and up to 3 sets of 33 if the demand is there. Out of the 33 CD's, your band will receive 3 free copies for promotional reasons, and $1 per CD that Alchemist Records sells. That's a potential of $170+ if you sell your free CD's, too. And like I said, you don't have to put ANY money towards the release.

Each CD will have a black bottom, and have your artwork on the top. There will also be a glossy 2-sided insert in each slim CD case. So things will be pretty professional. Have you heard of Kunaki.com? Our production costs will be about half of theirs, but will offer similar quality.

Check out our Facebook page, too, because we're planning a compilation album!

Currently looking for bands for the first release--a compilation album! ALSO, I'm hoping to release two full-length albums around the same time, so hit me up if you're interested!

Ok, 6 bands are already on this compilation and I've only been actively seeking bands for like 2 days. Contact me on here or on Facebook if you're interested!

The bands that will be on it so far are Ellende (Ambient Post-Black, Austria), Seelenlandschaft (Post-Black, Germany), Motorfire (traditional heavy metal/NWOBHM, Italy), Vermithrax (Groove Thrash, USA), and Karg (Post-Black, Austria).

Check these bands out--they are all amazing. If you feel you are in the same caliber as these bands, then hit me up!

Hello,

What do you need to get a band on the compilation?

Basically if I like your music and you agree to have your music on the compilation then it's settled. Contact me on Facebook or PM me if you want more information.

Ok,
In fact I run a small tape/ CDr label and would have liked to include one of the bands :)

What about ALTARS from Australia:

Hmm, not really my type, but if you have any other bands you'd like to share with me, I'm still open for suggestions.

Motorfire sounds EXACTLY like Enforcer in every way. Not bad.
