Hello again Shaxul, Jon here (I did a fuckin' horrible interview with you some time back). From what I've heard didn't you recently join this band?

I've loved the "Subhuman Terrorism" demo for some time now. What exactly are they looking to release? (tape? LP? CD? EP?)

HAIL JON! Indeed I am the new vocalist for ANNTHENNATH and the new songs totally pulverize the demo, this is 666 times faster and colder... Everything has yet to be confirmed but it seems we should have our new recordings (4 tracks) as a LP out on NECROMANCER Records and as a tape on INCOFFIN Productions. A MCD version may follow in the end of the year on GENOCIDE Productions, but time will tell.

Are you still opposed to radio airplay for your bands?

To be honest I don't remember I said I am opposed to this, maybe it was for my previous bands, I mean it depends on the context, moreover I absolutely don't know who you are... But if you mean my bands ARPHAXAT and ANNTHENNATH, I am not opposed to that, it's just that the ARPHAXAT album is not out yet and the ANNTHENNATH recordings are far from being finished. So you can get the records when they're out and if you want to play them, that's fine by me.

I emailed you around 2 years ago asking for the opportunity of spinning LOD bands on the radio. Your reply was a bit insulting of me and my listeners, with you basically saying no. I think you were under the impression that my request was coming from commercial radio, which we are not. Though I do understand LOD not having promos for media. Anyway, with your offering of myspace links for bands you're trying to help out (not LOD bands, I know), I figured you might not be so opposed to promotion as much since myspace is more commercial than independent radio. Ultimately, no big deal though. And I actually think it's cool that you're willing to post about bands from your area.

OK, so you were talking about LEGION OF DEATH bands, so is it the subject of this thread? No... Indeed we are releasing vinyl records, the aim is not really to airplay them as it's for people who are willing to get it for their vinyl records collection. And yes, I must admit I hate when people write to get free stuffs, especially for vinyl records that are very expensive to press, unlike CD's of which you can easily send promos. So I don't know how was your mail but who cares anyway, certainly not the ones reading this.

Now back to this thread, it is to help the bands from my region so if you want to airplay them, this is great! All kinds of support is welcome! You can even get in touch with them directly, why not?

Just go on the VALUATIR page, because INIS GWENVA was their previous name! It's the same band. They changed the name when the guitarist committed suicided... Anyway, the songs "Inis Gwenva" and "Call of Revenge" on their space are from the demo! Very great! The other tracks are advance for their first album which will really be a killer. If any interested label reads this, get in touch NOW! Hehe!

SAIGNEUR added to the list, they perform a very brutal kind of Death Metal with an evil atmosphere and a fuck off attitude.

Par simple curiosité, est-ce que tu connais des groupes de metal originaire de Saintes ? ça me rassurerait de savoir qu'il y du bon metal à Saintes parce que, franchement, quand on voit Mechanical Cradle...

Is SAIGNEUR old school of death metal?

Well, not as old school as DEEP VEIN is (between ENTOMBED and INCANTATION)... But I can say it is truly brutal... Not stupid Life Metal in the modern US vein of course... It's more for fans of VITAL REMAINS, DEICIDE, NILE and stuffs like that... The concept is mainly about Luciferianism and hedonism.

That label from Ecuador is reliable brother?

Sure. Totally underground. For the moment they released the second METAL KING album, "No warrior dies without honour" (Colombia/Spain), and they have some other projects, especially on cult tape format.
