Diabolicus have just been confirmed for the Heathen Fire Festival in south west England this September 11th-13th 2009 along with our Irish associates Nocturnal Holocaust and Solace of Nadir and a variety of English black metal bands. Anyone living in the area please come along for some pagan metal celebration.

Haha excellent stuff, thank you! Perhaps you could make the trip over to our festival and catch us live along with many more savage BM acts.

Unfortunately, Diabolicus have been dropped from the Heathen Fire Fest bill (along with about half the rest of the line up). Quite disappointing, but best of luck to the remaining bands who get to play.

This is the message I received anyway:

"Due to recent events within the management of the Heathen Fire Fest (Uk) we have had to make a very difficult and hard discision.

Unfortantly due to this we have had to ask several bands to leave the bill due to the strength of what we are trying to achieve with the festival. With that we regret to inform you that we will have to ask you to leave the Heathen Fire Festival (uk) line up. This is due to several issues and no particular one....

I.E bands with struggling line up's, Bands unable to provide us decent material for us as the promotor to promote them with, Or in other circumstances containing members under the age of 18+

We do appoligse for any problems that this may have caused to one and all connected with the bands who recieve this message.

Regards

The managemt team
Heathen Fire Fest (UK)"

Still not quite sure what to make of it. All I know is, we're off the bill.

Got the demo in the mail on Wednesday, and it's pretty sweet! Definitely a great way to wake myself up on the drive to school. It even sounded a bit thrashy at times, which I liked. If I were any good at reviews I'd write a positive one! Looking forward to hearing more.

Thank you very much. It's always great to hear that people are enjoying my music. I appreciate the comments.

For those still waiting on a demo, I apologise. Since everything is DIY it sometimes takes a while to reproduce all the CDs I need in time. After all, I am only one man. But I assure you, each and every order will be answered as soon as humanly possible.

Actually Rob, it's going to be the immortal Mr. Marc O' Grady of Days of Night filling in on rhythm guitar for that one gig. Here's hoping he'll be up for it.

Hows the form lad? Unfortunately, Nocturnal Holocaust has called it a day but Steve, the singer, has a new band called Wound Upon Wound and they'll be having us up in Dublin over Summer so I'll be sure and get a word in about ye for that one.

Thanks a million for your vote man, I hope you enjoy the CD thoroughly.

For those interested, Terrorizer have opened the voting for Best Unsigned Band 2009 between the bands that appeared on the Unsigned CD. In order to vote you must text the word UNSIGNED followed by the track number of the band you want to vote for.

To vote for Diabolicus text 'UNSIGNED 10' to 87474, texts cost 50p each.

However this method is only available to UK residents (giving a distinct advantage to UK bands) so if you want to vote outside of UK you must post your vote to the following address:

FEAR CANDY UNSIGNED,Terrorizer, Dark Arts Ltd, Unit 36, 10-50 Willow Street, London, EC2A 4BH, ENGLAND.

I don't expect anyone to go through the trouble of doing this but if you do decide to then please let me know as I will be hugely grateful.

Thanks for all your support.

Horns up,
Chainsawgutsfuck.

Cheers Paul. I'd say I'll be going for a different vocal approach on the next EP, which is almost fully written and cover artwork is complete.

Taake gig last night went very well too, fucking great night.
