Genre: Black Metal, similar to Emperor without keyboards, 1349, Mayhem.

After lengthy consideration, I've finally decided to put my album on the internet for free due to rather slow CD sales, and therefore lack of exposure.

All instruments and production handled by me. Drums were programmed due to lack of drumming skill on my behalf.

Ah. Well, as described, the two links are for different bitrates.

First one for 160 kbps

Second one for 320 kbps.

So the first link would take up less space on your computer but also be of lower sound quality.

How long did you spend writing, recording and mixing it? Defnitely doesnt sound like you did it all in a few days time.

Writing took place over a 4 year (....) stop-start process. Very very disjointed. Also, I had to wade through a ton of riffs, and a lot of stuff was thrown away.

Recorded and mixed over 2 months? The drum programming definitely took up the most time.

I can't say I enjoyed it too much. Overkill666's review sums it up, really.

IMO, the second track on the album (the one after the intro) could have been the best song from the album if the riffs were a bit more clearer and the vocals were better.

The second track was the first one I ever wrote. I fully agree with your observation.

Here's a little story. The riffs on that track sound unclear because I foolishly forgot to bring extra picks to the recording session. I lost the only pick I had, and I was running out of time to record that night anyways, so I decided not to go away and find one.

What you are hearing is the metallic USB end of an iPod cable chipping away at the strings.

I really enjoyed your album man. I thought the first track had a great creepy vibe to it. I also really enjoyed your vocals on the second track, they reminded me of really horrible nightmare I once had. My favoritetrack is Sin, especially at the 4:00 minute mark where it gets fairly clean and then how you end it. Remarkable, really great stuff. If you have any more I would really like to hear it. Definetly gonna recommend this to some of my co-workers.

The first track (intro) was all created using a software named Ableton Live, which is aimed at electronic based music.

Sin was the second last track I recorded, and definitely one of the songs I wrote in the shortest period of time.

My second album is slowly coming together, but has been slightly delayed by my other projects, mainly a thrash band by the name of Aortic Regurgitation. Music for that will be available soon.

Will definitely keep you updated, check this thread for info.

I hope your co-workers enjoy my music too.
