Demo's finally done; four tracks available for anyone to download, MA page forthcoming. It's Mortician-worshiping death/grind with some influences from oldschool grooving DM like Jungle Rot. Enjoy and comment and check out my other project, Septic Tomb:

not bad, the vocals could have more power for my taste, though.

Fucking great Mortician-worship. Zombie Apocalypse, anyone? Anyway man, nice stuff you've got there.

Certainly enjoyable as Mortician worship--heck, catchier than Mortician. Not something I'd listen to a lot but like I said, enjojyable.

Like oneyoudontknow said, maybe turn the vocals up a bit.

How do you like diSEMBOWELMENT, by the way? The faster elements certainly remind me of them as well.

The vocals weren't recorded in the ideal way; we had to use an ultra-short mike cord which means we couldn't use the vocal booth, so I ended up recording holding the microphone in my hand, which caused a lot of variation in the volume of the performance. The vocals are actually up as loud as they could go without a ton of clipping and it was kind of hard to get them to stand out due to how low they are. It's something we'll be working on later, particularly because a fairly known label is interested in releasing a full-length.

People have also compared Septic Tomb to disEMBOWELMENT, but I've never listened to that band much, so it's probably coincidence. The fast parts just sound like fast Mortician really.

The material on the full-length will probably be a little less ultra-Morticiany and a bit more in the grooving Jungle Rot direction, though there will still be a few total grind tracks of course. Shooting for 10-12 songs on the full-length, including rerecordings of the demos.

I think you must work in a retard education classroom or something, that's one of the silliest comparisons I've ever heard. Basically, you're nothing like Disembowelment in sound... AT ALL.

Not to say Septic Tomb is bad though, I enjoyed the EP.

I've listened to it. I can't draw any comparisons, but I will say that I enjoyed it a hell of a lot better than Septic Tomb. This was pretty enjoyable stuff.
