I went to see a show the other night and to my surprise there was this 6'6 monster that picked up the mic and some black metal looking guy picked up a dean plugged into a Mesa-Boogie. So I was thinking "please don't be complete shit i've already dealt with screamo all night" To my surprise they had great instrumentals with a sound from the Baroque era but with a Danny Elfman kinda mischievous feel.

They opened up with a song they called Kin Of Thy Scorched Delusion which seemed really immortal to me, followed it up with Homosapian Armageddon which had a more death sound to it. then they played somthing from their new album "Or so they said" called Heretical Absinthe which was a pretty sick song! I later went over to talk to this member called KTB (Trust me this guy has a huge name). I asked him where they were from and what metal they were and he said "I am a Canadian Viking eh? a Canuk, I forgot my moose horn helmet tonight!" So I found it alittle funny he was poking fun at the fact he was Canadian. He told me if I wanted any of there older stuff I could goto their site

http://www.cimmarian.com

to download free mp3's check out their youtube and many other features. He kept telling me that he didn't want to be called anything but Metal due to he didn't want to deal with greif from elite metalheads. I think they sounded most like black metal.
