I confirm somekindofgod is making weird and suspicious things. Especially concerning the release dates...
He's now Veteran

But it's getting very tiring to see a self financed demo released in the 80s/90s with a 'month date', and EVEN the day. How the hell is it possible?!
I'm sure even the band itself couldn't give such precision.
*sigh*

He/She left the following message on Skull Fist's page.

Quote:
Lineup is Jackie Slaughter. thats fine
Shred A.K.A. ken neilsen and the band photo is not up- to date and showing past members

Completely pointless.

Someone is adding stuff like "See also Xasthur (USA), Silencer (Swe), Nyktalgia, Sterbend, Abyssic Hate, Forgive Me, Anti (Deu), Nocturnal Depression, Nae'blis, Thy Light." to the pages of those bands for no reason.

somekindofgod - Banned.

EntilZha - It wasn't him. That user isn't a veteran, and some of those bands already had something written in the additional notes, so he wouldn't be able to add that.

You are Veteran. You can made most of this.
Rest you can reported.
It's not a pointwhoring for me what BGProds has done.
So next time if you see something like this just fix it.

Please fix this band: http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=101649

'Cabra Noche' was posted twice. By the way, link called 'Mendozza' doesn't work.

Even if veteran, user "drengskap" adds useless links to Stunde des Ideals on various pages (both myspace & official site)

Some bands have NOTHING to do with this label

Nordisk Velde
Woodsmarch

for example have released nothing under that label

LOST GOD: http://ia341306.us.archive.org/3/items/ ... edcast.mp3

LACRIMAE: http://ia341317.us.archive.org/0/items/ ... edcast.mp3

Yes and what's the use of those audio interviews? NO USE and moreover it's in spanish whereas the the language used on the site is english

Interviews/reviews and other non english links should be used only if there is no other info available for a band (which are very obscure)

User "Najakelia" has been editing recently added bands and haven't made an important change, for example, he changed Sephirot (Cri) EP cover for a smaller one.

Right, just wanted to say this, too. He re-edits my edits without doing anything useful.

Ah, now I see what he did. He changed "independent" to "self-released". But only in one Release for every Band. The other releases are still "independent". Wtf?

Most of my updates of the hour were removals of LastFM links and suppression of the day for self-released demo.
I didn't do anything to your cover...

There were no last.fm links and concrete releasedates at all in the bands I updated. But you did the abovementioned thing, so it's not true what you claim.

Don't know about the cover, not my job.

Well the release day in Sephirot's EP was added for one the band's members, his name is JRVSephiroth. And with the cover, I put a 320x320 cover, now it is a 160x160.

Yes there was, as far as i remember 'Black Dhalia murder' for instance, i don't remember the other ones.

Do you really judge logical to see self-released demos with a day for old demos?!

Not logical and relevant for a self-released demo, even if the demo in question is recent. Adding a month is enough.

Like I said, there were no concrete dates given. You just changed "independent" to "self-released" and nothing else. Just don't think it's logical that you complain about other people (as i see above) if you do the very same thing yourself. The whole "Newest Updates" Box was full with your name, in, probably, 30 seconds. That's pretty much pointwhoring in my opinion. Though, who cares.

I complain about people who add false informations in the 'release date' just in order to get some points filling the fields.

The whole "Newest Updates" Box was full with your name, in, probably, 30 seconds >> blind chance, never happened to you so far ?

1) I listened to the interview: more spanish than english, music and when the guy talks in english its not very lourd

2) taken from rules, point-whoring section

"Adding a bunch of worthless links that have no more (when it's not LESS) information about the band than the actual Encyclopaedia band entry. Also applies to links to CD reviews or interviews as "fan sites". Exception: if the band is very very obscure and this link to an interview is one of the only reference to the band on the Web, it might be tolerated."

So to my knowledge, Lost God is not an obscure band since they have a myspace and correct info are updated

Secondly your interview does not bring new information... so you're just polluting the site with worthless shit

Maybe yes, maybe not, but it is not up to me, it is not up to you. Let Admin decide.

invalid tracklist:
http://www.metal-archives.com/release.php?id=266082

see here:
http://www.againstnature.us/Discography ... /index.htm

The release has eight tracks and not nine; like the MA entry.

I think "Fernylle" vandalized Endless Sorrow page

Demo, 1st tracks: lyrics

"Jààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààà!

...

Jààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààà!
Jààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààààà!"

wtf?

This is the culprit in question if I am not mistaken. I guess he missed the additional notes section.

This morning he had 80 points and now he's up to 180.

Edit: he's adding lastFM pages as well.
