Clearly we must have a USPM brodown at some point. Don't worry, there's enough of me to go around ;)

This seems like it'd be a good opportunity to meet up. Central location, great bands.

I'll hopefully make it to that show, so I'll keep y'all in mind as the days approach.

bastardhead and I have indeed been in the same room, but haven't met. I'd imagine there's a chance that I've been to concerts attended by other Chicago based folks, but I've never met any of them either.

I'm planning on going to that show, killer lineup.

I haven't really met anyone from this site (I know plenty who actively use it but don't post on the forums) but I did buy some merch from ogmetal at Rites of Darkness a few weeks ago

Yea, I once went to a get-together of M-A users (the shindig previously mentioned by cweed/John_Sunlight). I had no idea what to expect, only really knowing cweed well, but I remember stumbling home at 5 am with a huge smile on my face and really psyched at meeting so many cool metalheads right in my backyard. That needs to happen again.

What days were planning on attending? I'm planning on going on Friday (at least) of this year.

I'd be seriously surprised if there were any M-A frequenters in the Abilene area. I've only ever ran into a handful of real metalheads.

Well I meant 2012 or 2013. I just checked and finals will be over well before the 2012 dates so yeah Ima try for that one. I guess driving is possible too, I hate flying and that way I can bring weed too. Never been so I don't know if it's large enough to get away with smoking inside the festival, we'll see. It's kind of disturbing how big of a role weed plays in my travel plans, it's gonna make it hard to get to Europe someday.

Never met anyone from here in person, at least not that I'm aware of. Maybe I have and just don't realize it? I mean, it's not like I wear a name tag at metal gigs that says "Hello, My name is OXENKILLER" So, it's possible that I might have at least chatted with one or two people that post on here occasionally but the subject of this website just never came up. And the thing is, there really arent that many metal heads in Boise, Idaho. Sure there are some, but for the most part the majority seem to be into the Lamb Of God/Atreyu type metal, which isn't really my thing. But to be fair there are SOME of classical/traditional metal fans here, I just don't know them well enough to know if they post here or not.

So no, to answer the original question, probably not. Or if I have, I just didn't realize it.

Who knows? I might have met some MA people at MDF or at various shows in Atlanta, but if so, MA didn't come up. That said, if any of you folks live in Georgia (preferably around Augusta), it'd be cool to hang some time. ESPECIALLY IF YOU PLAY BASS. (I need a bassist.)

the list:
Napero, always something original to talk about, very hospitable
Acrobat, heavy scottish vibes, huge nose
Droneriot, total geek, nice guy, awful BO
MushroomStamp, uncanny resemblance to a garden gnome
MacMoney, made me feel like a short, unclassy garden gnome
DanFuckingLucas, the best way to describe him is "english", cool dude
fiercetroll, super nerdy asian, nice guy
zeingard, friendly to the point of embarrasment
Aphrodite, could talk about her for an extremely long time
DisembowelMe, arguably the shortest person in Iceland, seemed friendly but cool/somewhat distant? Was weird bro
Apparently Aidan Baker off Nadja used to post here, in which case I can tick him off. His friendliness only beaten by his lack of height.

All adding up to a lot of free accomodation! Chances are I've bumped into ENKC at some point in my life as well.

So I met BastardHead at the Sanctuary show last night and didn't even know it til he told me a little while ago on here! He was actually standing right in front of me when my band was playing early in the show. If I knew it was him at first I definitely would've talked some more, but yeah, really cool guy.

I'll be headed to the Absu show... if there's no problems with the venues letting a minor in. I'm quite easy to spot, since I'm short, have long dark brown hair, rather Asian-looking and in no way look like an adult. I might be wearing a Drowning the Light or Pestilential Shadows shirt, but it'll definitely be in the vein of black metal.

Fellow Sydney-sider checking in! I'll be at the Absu/Portal show on Friday also, yet unfortunately I'm in the same boat as Atrocious, I turn 18 in 5 months so I'm really hoping to get inside, going with a mate of mine who's 24 so that may work in my favour.
(Keep an eye out for a short guy wearing a black denim patch vest and bathory shirt!)

I've never really gotten to know anyone on here really well during my rather long tenure, but I'd love too, one day. Unfortunately, I think there's one other dude on this forum who's from Alberta, and he doesn't live anywhere near Edmonton, as I recall. I'll toss an open invitation out to anyone who happens to be in the area, ever. I've got to say, I'm pretty awesome. I do have an obnoxious thing for The Darkness, and air guitaring though. Can't be helped. Also, I travel to Australia every few years, when I can swing it. So, anyone interested in meeting an ever-so exotic, drunken Canadian, lemme know!

Never met any M-A members (that I know of anyway). Most of you fuckers live in the US-of-A so that might be the issue. If someone ever stumbles into Europeland and Poland in particular (and Warsaw in particular particular) give me a shout. I will take you to some insane Polish booze drinking. Promise.

Probably a couple members who aren't very active on the site or forums.

If anyone is going to Deicide on March 2 at Reverb in Reading, PA... I'll be there.

I have met ANationalAcrobat, beer_snob and Nausea. All pleasent people, except Acrobat. I recommend meeting MA'ers, one of these shared weed with me, the other beer, and the last one body fluids.

I'll be meeting tomcat_ha, ortab and failsafeman at Keep it True this year. The_Internet at this years Kill-Town Death Fest maybe.

I have met a few fellow Canadians, since I don't post on here very often I can't for the life of me remember their online names. I did meet one person off Tshirtslayer which was nice to meet someone with such a love for patches and shirts.

Attempting at going to more Seattle shows soon. So if there are any Seattle and area posters, watch out.

Theevilsocky came over and jammed and hung out last night, which is the first face to face meeting I've ever had with any MA member. I still find it hard to believe that there is someone in the forum that lives in the same county as me. Weird.

I've met John_Sunlight on a couple occasions, he's a fun guy to hang around.

Being the founder of that Facebook group the mods love to hate (MA/metalheads), I've videochatted with numerous members, including Atrocious_Mutilation, Gelseth_Andrano, The_Beast_In_Black, Visionary, Metantoine, MutantClannfear, Det_Mortekall, etc. etc.

I'm supposed to be meeting up with Amanicantus sometime this month or next.
