Going to add one more on the back, on the tight side of the Panopticon patch.
And maby some on the sides of the Archgoat patch.

I like the big Panopticon logo above the backpatch. I'm also thinking of getting a big Bathory logo like the one on your jacket, but for above my backpatch.

One of my favorite vests in this thread because our tastes our very similar. Kudos for that awesome Nocturnal Blood patch.

That 'Realm Of Chaos' back patch is wicked!

forestcorpse, I noticed that the Archgoat logo on your back patch is embroidered. Is the rest of the design embroidered?

I'm gonna start on a second vest soon. I got a new Levi's jacket today. I'm gonna stick with more of a black metal theme for this new one.

Thanks a lot on all the comments!

Dooders: Cool we have the same taste, the NB patch was among the first I put on actually.

dreadmeat: Katahrsis, Insanely good band.

BoltTheGates: Yes, everything on the patch is embroidered, great quality and I think it looks killer!

Does anyone know where I can get a good quality King Diamond patch? Logo or motive.

Haven't posted on here in ages, but I recently finally finished my kutte, so I thought I'd post it up on here.

The flash ruins this a bit, but the badges are Kreator, Slayer and Wormrot, from left to right.

And for anyone who's wondering, I'm not a Canuck - the maple leaf patch was from family I have in Toronto.

I bought it when I saw them last year in Manchester. I presume it's a tour exclusive, but you might be able to get one on eBay if you're lucky. The Mastodon one is the same story.

Ah, okay then, I saw them last September but I didn't see any patches at their merch stand, I guess I'll give ebay a shot. Thanks.

Edit: They have a different patch design available from their merch store: http://www.facebook.com/KyussLives/app_4949752878

Pretty cool vest there raytownian, even though I don't really like The Smiths the patch looks good. Also like the big Subhumans logo.

It's my second one, the first one just disintegrated. Really bad quality. This jacket is great though.

Here's what still needs to be done (the Slaughter patch is facing the chair):

Well, that's because of the angle and the flash of the camera.

Thanks, breaux.
I consider that a nice compliment since the only patch in that picture I did not make was the embroidered Nuit Noire one.
(well, my high school graphic design teacher put the emulsion on the screen for that Napalm Death patch, but I did everything else, dammit! Also, the contrast of the photo hides a lot of the imperfections that are more clear in person).

Also, I hacked the sleeves off a little while later, but I'm not going to bother posting more pictures until I feel it's "DONE" (done-er), because I have posted pictures of the same jacket in this thread about 10 times, and I'm sure that gets annoying.

Is it hard to sew a patch on a leather jacket? I just need to know what I'm up against.

I've never actually been able to successfully do it.

Then again, I don't have a sewing machine, either. You could bring it into a tailor though I'm sure.

the best option is to buy needles intended for sewing leather (You'll find packs on ebay for cheap) and to use a thimble (Otherwise it will tear into your skin as it needs to be pushed pretty heavily.) I have sewn many leathers this way.
