I'm looking for lyrics that center around new world order concept or anti-government in general- I don't mean generic "fuck the system" hardcore punk rants, but more along the lines of Dave Mustaine's ramblings in the recent Megadeth albums. Intelligently written, please.

Thrash or Groove would be preferable, but as long as the vocals are understandable, it's fine.

Thanks in advance

Sons of Liberty lyrics are entirely about NWO conspiracies and a "libertarian" of modern America. Heavy metal with some thrash and US power in there, made by Jon Schaffer of Iced Earth.

Agent Steel picked up a theme of Alien/Illuminati conspiracies, IIRC it's more on their last few, while the first two are a bit more restrained and general. Great band too.

How do you feel about 80s thrash that is mostly charged against government and the cold war? Toxik and Watchtower have more of a social focus than being anarchist, but you may like their music - very technical thrash, so if you like Megadeth, you should check them out.

I'll second Sons of Liberty. Their "Brush Fires of the Mind" album even has a track that starts off with the infamous Kennedy speech, that many conspiracy theorists believe got him assassinated...

They don't talk about "TNWO" (that I know of) but Liberteer kick fucking ass, and for some reason make me want to burn a bank.

Ministry have a few conspiracy theory lyrics (and they're obviously anarchist), including the song "Lieslieslies" which is about 9/11 and features samples from Loose Change.

I made a thread like this a little while ago. While it didn't get a lot of responses you could search for it. I would list what bands came up but off the top of my head all I can remember is The Faceless and Killing Joke.

I know God Forbid is one of those bands a lot of people put their heads around, but they still released a whole concept album revolving around a futuristic civilization that destroys itself. They are kind of a Thrash/Metalcore thing.

I own the album, but it's been like forever since I've listened to them at all.

This is my favorite song of the album

Naakhum is quite a good one for this. Their lyrics are only about a NWO, conspiracy theories and ancient aliens.

Toxik-Think This : although more focused on the media and the way it washes our brains, this awesome record has some of the best lyrics in thrash metal, and some of the best solos too!

Muse: yeah i know, electro rock from the uk, not so metal, anyway Matt has some crazy conspirancy theories and his electro/orchestrated/progressive/pop-rock is a cool sountrack to the distopic themes!

Hypocrisy worked on the alien theme pretty damn good, check them out!

Pain of salvation´s One Hour By Concrete Lake its a perfect example of awesome progressive rock with great lyrics
about the system, nature, conspiracies and stuff like that

Queensryche´s Operation Mindcrime is a "must to" on this tread, Geoff Tate is one of the greatest singers ever.

Not metal at all but if you're genuinely interested in all of this kind of stuff you should seek out Lowkey's Soundtrack to the Struggle.

Libertarian and anti-statist would be a better term to use then anarchist. Anarchism is usually far-left. I have never met a left wing anarchist or any leftist that was into conspiracy theories. Conspiracy theorists are generally right wing. I second Agent Steel, they are exactly what you are looking for. I also second Naakhum.

Is Naakhum right-wing?
