I spent the '90s playing with lego, reading about geography and playing with sticks in the forest.

Alone.

Go ahead.

What's the point of playing with sticks if you can't beat your friends up with them?

Anyways, alone Lego is best Lego.

well, think I got to correct you a bit ;) Here's what it has to sound like:

I thoroughly concur, Lego was a vast part of my childhood, which is why it hurts my pedantic-sensibilities so much when Americans pluralise it to "Legos". It's not... it's really really not. It's always Lego.

Ah yes, the stick. Quite possibly the greatest toy of all time. Much of my childhood consisted of me single-handedly slaughtering entire armies with my mighty stick battle axe.

Fuck, when I was in elementary school, we didn't even need fucking sticks to have a little fun. We played tag. No equipment, not even any complicated organization needed. Five, six or more of us would get together on the playground during recess and one of us would go "Tag! You're it!" and we'd all start running. I miss tag.

I miss my days in the elementary school. It was very funny all the day. Now I find pleasure listening to Flamenco music.

Portal by Last Chance to Reason have some frecuent pinch harmonics, not as much as Necrophagist, but more entertaining I think.

I feel the need to state the vast superiority of 80's cartoons vs 90s and later cartoons. He-Man, Voltron, Thundercats, Centurions, GI Joe, Transformers. I'll take my 80's over the 90's any day.

I mean like the new Elder Scrolls or something. Huge world, modern graphics, skill tree for elemental types and what not.

I never even thought about the caves, it could almost be a dungeon crawler. There's so much potential for it!

I'm thinking about getting a new shirt since I have a little bit of spending money at the moment. Gah, so many choices! I'm stuck between a Black Sabbath shirt I've had my eye on, or an Ash Ra Temple one. Hmmm.

If it was me I'd go for an Ash Ra Tempel one with a picture of their debut, Amboss is probably my favorite krautrock jam ever.

According to Pandora, if I like to listen to the Ventures, I'm just gonna love The Roots. What the hell, Pandora.

And yes, both Pokemon and Legos rule. But NOT together.

Making farming independent from herbicides and artificial fertilizer without hurting production.

I guess Monsanto will, some way or another, kill this effort before it has even half started.

So I finally received my copy of cosmosophy the other day along with the desanctification, listening to the reworked ideas I could remember from the earlier albums really made me appreciate the whole trilogy that much more. I was wondering then, and since I can no longer find the 'is there a distro that still carries this' thread, if anyone knows where I can get a copy of 777 sects on vinyl?

Reworked ideas? Care to elaborate?

I've only listened to it twice so far but it seemed like some of the riffs were slight variations on themes from the earlier albums. Posting this from my phone so I can't give examples on youtube but it definitely seemed that way, although it could have been in my head I suppose.

Anyone know a webshop carrying the 777 sects lp? Or feeling like parting with their copy?

Nice!

I'm working on a job upgrade myself. Only job I've ever had is working on computers in a little failing business my uncle runs (into the ground). The pay is shit and there are no benefits but its pretty easy and I get to listen to music all day. I'm finally at the point where I'm willing to work a bit harder for more money and benefits though. Trying to get on with Walgreens as a medical supplies delivery driver. My mom works on the administrative side of things and has greased the works. You get a company car + GPS so the job should be hard to fuck up. Plus I'm naively hoping I'll get to listen to music all day if I'm just out there driving around alone.

Trying not to let my hopes go stratospheric but it isn't working.

Knowing Japan, they'd probably make it possible to have sex with your pokemon. It could be interesting to let you play as a pokemon yourself. Probably would take some mechanics changes to make it viable though, (no four-move restriction).

The system takes a little to update. It'll show up later.

Also, it's been three days and we already have 13 reviews for that one album. Fuck's sake.

I wish my refund for out of state tuition could come in the mail already. It would be the largest check I've seen in a long time. And since classes next semester will be much cheaper, it goes towards traveling funds for winter break :D

We've already got plans for a day in the bay area, another couple in Los Angeles, and new years in Tijuana. I might even be able to make it up north to Washington too, but we'll see what happens.
