Here's my first patched leather jacket :)

On the front is just a Marduk patch, got those round type patches of deicide, possessed, bathory, and burzum on the way, planning to put 2 on each arm bit.
Also got Hellhammer, Beherit and Blasphemy patches on the way to put on the front.

Im working on getting a black vest because this thread has made me wanna get one :D Not sure where to get it from though... found this..

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Retro-Biker-Bla ... 354&sr=1-4

Looks alright?

The jacket is looking really good! Good job. :) As for a vest, you could also try going to your local second hand shops, like the Red Cross or something. You might be lucky and find a cheaper jacket than the one you're linking to, seeing as you're going to remove the sleeves and all. Of course, if you have money but no time, you can buy it online because finding a proper jacket can sometimes be a bit difficult at second hand shops. But if it's a long-term project you should also try the second hand shops.

Nah, I'm pretty sure "Unstoppable Force- Armed And Dangerous Beyond The Gates Unviling The Wicked Alice In Hell Possessed By Fire and Raging Steel" is just a song by Demilich.

As soon as I get paid again, I'm getting another shipment of patches to fill the spaces. As I said a couple pages ago, I'm using a retired Canadian Forces load-bearing vest. That being said, the spot where the poppy is will remain permanently reserved. I'm putting something far more important than a band batch there.

Killer vest 666Emperor666!
Really cool.

And I see that the King Diamond patch looks great, could you send me the link to where you bought it again? Need to get it myself now.

Thanks! October Falls plays acousic folk on "Tuoni", "Marras", "Sarastus" and on their split with Varghkoghargasmal. Their two newest albums and "Streams of the End" EP are dark metal with acoustic folk parts.
I got that Pd'H patch from Hells Headbangers a few years ago.

I was at a show last night, and most of the audience were wearing the band's merchandise... Humph. How absurd.

666Emperor666: The Horna backpatch is absolutely fantastic. Where did you get it, or is that from a shirt?

I got it from Eisenwald. It hasn't been available for a while though.

I have the Brocas Helm logo on my vest, it's silver on black, really nice and thick (which made it a cunt to sew on), but I didn't buy it, my friend got it for me, but I'm about 99% sure he bought it from Doom Patches on facebook. He's in Greece now and not online much but I'll ask him when I can and if he got it somewhere else I'll let you know. They might be out of stock but it never hurts to ask:

Thanks, that would be great!

I checked the facebook page and it says that the Brocas Helm patch is sold out, that sucks. Will ask them if they will repress it.

I've got a bunch that I haven't put on still. Hell, Crimson Glory, Borrowed Time, Manegarm, Skyforger, Arkona, Angra and Windir. I've also got back-patches from Dio and Hammerfall and Atlantean Kodex that are working as posters right now...

That Tyr patch is cool, where did you get it? It's a lot more interesting than just the basic logo design.

This vest is large enough so I can wear my black leather winter jacket under it, as I live in the North and it gets pretty damn cold here. May order a smaller sized denim jacket and make a new vest with a patch overhaul.

Anyone who's used Over-Zone know if/suspect that they can make a patch from Christian Death's first logo?:
Image

I really want an embroidered patch of it, but I am concerned that it might have too many fine lines... And, fuck no, I do not want a patch of their shitty current logo and the no-original-members lineup it represents, so please do not suggest that I get one of these off of ebay.

Thanks to anyone who can offer their thoughts and/or suggestions of another company that will do one-offs with more detail!

Hm, tough one. I think you should just write Over-zone and ask them, they respond quite fast.

What's that circular patch above the backpatch? Nice Volahn & Electric Wizard on the front, that Volahn patch is especially cool.

That's some solid denim right there. Nice and understated.

Re: Christian Death logo.
I guess I will just email them, then.

I edited out the white lines around the letters and it's a lot simpler without looking too "weird" or far removed from the original logo.

I bet they can stitch it that way a lot more easily, and I think it will translate well onto a woven patch... the traced contour lines would've probably ended up making that logo look really cluttered on a little 5" strip patch anyway.

Just came across an older picture of me in my vest when it had a lot fewer patches on it and I have to say I really liked the more minimal look. Considering ripping most of the patches off my vest, rearranging the ones I want on there, and sewing the ones I ripped off onto my older grey jacket and flannels.

here's my first attempt. I liked the look of shaped patches, until I began sewing them on. It's a bonus when you have a straight edge to stitch!

All I can say to that is good luck. I've been after a Skagos patch for the better part of a year.

Not any rare ones, but I sure am proud of my baby :D There really isn't anything better (apart from the music, of course) than wearing one of these. It's fairly new, so I've only used it in the last few shows I've attended. It's also women's S, so I won't be able to patch it up a whole lot more. I am currently looking a decent looking back patch, hopefully a Slayer/Morbid Angel one. I know where to get them, but I needs the monies first!

Image

BTW, great vests around here!

http://himnosrituales.com/megapatches/index.htm

How is the quality of these patches?

They state that their patches are: "Sublimation Printed - Print will never fade, crack or peel !!!"

Though I'm having my doubts since you usually get what you pay for...
